according to the liverpool echo they've seen the documents that verify the money was transferred in full (15million euros) 2 hours before the deadline the president refused to sign the transfer papers, this doesn't answer the question why did we leave it so late and ian ayre is a tosser and we'll always be like this as long as he's in chargeAt the moment there are a lot of stories doing the rounds. Most involve money not available at the deadline or us undercutting our own valuation, some that the negotiations just went on and on. Seems like we've been here before.
Rumour mill says we've made an approach to resign Torres !!!Comment

the owner also owns a minority stake in one of Abramovichs steel firms perhaps he had call from Roman
.... or maybe not
one thing for sure Ayre aint the man who should be dealing with transfers

Great win from the lads today, to blitz the gooners away!
Thought the team was excellent today and sterling is rapidly improving to a good winger.
Great brand of attacking, fast, hunting teams down.
Buck Rodgers is building something special here and with a some more backing from the owners, will bring the title home soon.YNWAComment

Hell of a win.I wouldn't give all the credit to Rodgers. He lined them up 4-3-3 but it looked like the players went to a 4-2-3-1 when Suarez went to the right Sterling to the left and Curtino to the CAM. Arsenal couldn't control the center without Flamini. Not saying they would of won but might of been a little closer.Great win from the lads today, to blitz the gooners away!

I would have to disagree with that, players may drift into postions ie wingers, midfielders etc.Hell of a win.I wouldn't give all the credit to Rodgers. However, it is the manager that decides how they line up full stop.
To play sturruidge through the middle and with suarez and sterling either side was spot on ie to use the pace of sturridge.
Not sure if you see Rodgers interview, he did state they played tactically different today.
Hence full respect and credit to Buck Rodgers, he is the reason we are in this remarkable position, he has a certain brand of football ie to pass the ball around, slow, fast, to hunt teams down in packs so that they make mistakes.
How many time did we nick the ball of them and make them pay?
Kop singing Rodgers name and with good reason too.
We dont have the squad and depth for all competions, hopefully the owners will give him more funds to get some proper quality depth in.YNWAComment
