Doesn't really matter who appoints administrators. Whyte appoints his preferred administrators and he makes his quick buck as main creditor and leaves the club to die.
Whatever way you look at it the tax bill is not going to go away. The previous and current owners have asset stripped the club to the point they own absolutely zilch. They've even borrowed their next three years season ticket money from ticketus and will have no sustainable income in that time. They are currently trading whilst insolvent and there's no way they can get themselves out of this mess. HMRC have already stated no deals, they want their cash. Hector will still go after them. If Whyte appoints his preferred administrators its a victory for his pocket but not for Rangers FC.
