Trap should have been more positive in all 3 games ROI had nothing to lose they were in a tough group.

However this is the guy who got you in to a major International competition in all these years, and would have got the team in the WC finals had it not been for Henry's handball.

Traps deffo deserves another chance and i think many Irish fans would agree.

One last thing credit to the Irish fans they have been brilliant all tournament they enjoyed themselves even tho they're team never performed, they were certainly the best fans at the competition.

Disagree Zee he's been ROI worst manager since steve staunton as for TH handball others could say what about the goal we got that was clearly offside in a earlier game. The only game in the qualifiers we played well in was v russia 0-0 every other game was piss poor. Yes the fans are brilliant there are having a ball,, but lets wait and see how many will be supporting our own league clubs. It's reported that over 30thousand irish fans where roaring on the ROI team yet when you put the attendance of all our league clubs together it averages around 12thousand. Traps a legend ive always liked the guy but i do agree he doesn't know his best team and it was right when the journos put to him that he's too loyal to certain older players which he defended.

I still feel he should be given another chance. Im no Irish fan but for some reason i want to see them at major tournaments ive always liked the fans, hope they are at the next WC in Brazil, brazilian samba fans and the Irish what a party that would be.
