    Racists gone mad

Does anyone believe that the ref in chelsea v united game used inappropriate language to 2 chelsea players i always thought it was the other way round. Maybe he told them to fxxk off i don't know. I agree with kick out racist but now the ref been accused of it,, whats next we don't want to play with a white ball,, btw i didn't think torres deserved to be showing red.

Mark Clattenburg is set to be sacked by the F.A, as video evidence reveals the referee called Fernando Torres a "striker".
    Sir Alex Ferguson in 1988

"This isn't just a job to me." "It's a mission. I am deadly serious about it. Some people would reckon too serious. We will get there, believe me. And when it happens, life will change for Liverpool and everyone else - dramatically."

it looked like there was words exchanged on both sides i cant believe a referee would call any footballer without there being something said to them first

btw i disagree torres dived touched or not he dived he thought evans was last man and tried to get him sent off

when i watched it in real time i saw it as a dive but thought ref had bought it i was pleasantly surprised by what happened i was also very surprised when i seen the replay that evans actually touched him

but he did touch him but it was on his shin and it was totally unnatural to go down from that kind of touch

you watch it from refs view blatant dive

      quote from rules:

What could the referee have seen? Well the law is clear and the guidelines are handy to know...

The referee obviously felt that the forward had gone to ground in an unnatural fashion and that he had exaggerated his reaction to gain an advantage. The referee is perfectly entitled to caution the forward for that.

Law 12: "Over exaggeration tends to be a reaction to minimal contact whereby the player is seeking to ensure the referee is aware of the contact."

now lot of people moaning about young diving yes he has but this instance he was clipped from behind, anyone running who gets a heel or legged clipped will more than likely go down

a delicate touch on the shin would make nobody go down

yes torres was touched but he did dive the ref was spot on

there was contact he had a right to go down whether it was soft or unnatural or not he should't have been sent off for that but probably for the one on Cleverly who saved his bacon by getting up and not making much of it.

I for one can not believe this accusation, you can say what you like about Clattenburg, he is still a top referee in the English game.

This all tastes of sour grapes from Chelsea, and I hope the investigation embarasses them into withdrawing it.

I have to give my thoughts on this but I sure do expect to be judged as a Serbian concidering the latest events from Serbia and U21 clash with England. But please don't forget if you judge me by my nationality it is a racist omark

I have to tell (and please pardon my French) I don't give a s**et about these kind of so called insults. I am not a racist of any kind. I was surrounded by war all my childhood and I am not a racist. I don't judge people by the peace of paper or color of the skin. I don't judge them at all, just accept or don't accept them depending on their on quality as a human.

Regarding to the racist issue I think that it has gone to far and also think that people with black skin very often use it. For me it is much more insulting when you swear someones mother or family. Racism it`s not about when you tell someone "negro", it`s about when people with other skin color are marginalised in society. When they can't get any job, have no rights, are slaves etc. I don't see in particular case Obi Mikel in that basket at all. He is ok football player (not more than that), and for that he has more on bank account than all of us together, and I can't see his skin color bothers him.

All in all I think racist story are just abused by the people who have the same rights in society as everyone but if you took them one then they call racist card. I am more worried about the people who are still slaves from Africa and Asian countries, about their liberty and organs on sale (that`s the people who are on the edge of the society) and for personal offence (with no arguments) I really don't care.

you obviously didnt read the law of the game i put on in previous post

a player has no right to simulate and it should be cautioned even under minimal contact i have seen no law in football that says footballers have a right to go down if touched

              end of story

Torres should have been sent off earlier, and should have been given the benefit of doubt on the sending off. As a neutral, I have watched Clattenburg ref a number of games, and I have never rated him. Having played the game, running at speed with someone over 6 foot with muscles in his piss, about to tackle from the front; it does not take much to bring you down. Your brain automatically goes into survival mode.

A don't think people will judge you on your Nationality mate, that would be plain stupid.
Scotland had a helluva reputation in the 70s, our fans were a National disgrace with booze and fighting which was stamped out and now our fans are the best behaved in the world.
England wasn't without its troubles for fighting, most had nothing to do with genuine football fans it was just thugs wanting to fight and recently England is getting on top of it now.

Personally a don't understand racism in any form, life is too short and the world is too small to be concerned about someones skin colour.
I have said it before though that football is a passionate sport and tempers flare, sometimes people blurt out things they don't really mean just to pi** off their opponent.
Players today seem very sensitive compared to yesterdays hero's who just got on with it, John Barnes and Marc Walters spring to mind..
Walters took a lot of abuse when he came to Scotland, some of it was pretty vile and made today's incidents look very tame, maybe thats a reflection of how far we have came in stopping racism.

maybe they don't but most players do it doesn't make it right but it's been happening for years your own players do it like Valencia did to win the penalty at Anfield minimal contact if any he shouldn't have gone down either. Some players are better at conning the ref then others like Suarez who goes ott with his reaction after being touched

i know i have seen young, nani and rooney do it regular valencia did it on sunday and was booked

i dont agree with with it but i happily take the points but its swings and roundabouts sometimes it goes against you

i thought clattenberg reffed the game very well to be honest and showed a lot of character the fa are trying to stamp diving out and he was brave in that situation as he was on a yellow to make that decision

i read somewhere an idea on how to deal with divers sin bin until they review it on video as the game contnues if they are found to dive they are off and banned for 3 games if inconclusive or found not to be a dive the straight back on they do it again banned for 5 games they will soon get the message and it will be eradicated

i dont think its a bad system although you may have problems as the refs inititial reaction will not change so if it should have been a penalty for instance the referees initial decision right or wrong stilll counts

i am not a believer in stopping games for video evidence i think you would lose the momentum the game was building maybe hawkeye for goal line scenariios if it can be done instantly but aside from that i wouldnt bother

another alternative would be a panel who sits and watches all the contentious decisions and bans any players diving within 1 day of the game for 3 games then 5 then 7 until nobody does it again

These football players do not live in the real world, they are seriously deluded due to their wealth.
For 90 minutes they talk to the ref like he is a piece of shit but when he gives them a bit back they go running to the press and the fa. What a bunch of weans.

i cant believe it tbh seems like sour grapes

the ref is wired does it not get recorded??

also if he abused mikel does anyone know what he supposedly said as the comment about mata came out supposedly spanist t*at

what i dont understand is that is he racially abused them both why there was no uproar on the pitch

wonder if he gets a few game ban like terry did for calling ferdinand a n**ger and that was seen on tv?

no it will be the last game he ever ref's if found guilty

talking about racism whats the association of black lawyers all about??

lots of double standards in racism if there was a white association of lawyers there would be uproar and whats the mobo awards if not discriminating

the way i see it if clattenberg is innocent, his accusers should face the same consequences.in fact their actions would be more serious.
