        so why ok for ABU?
Im saying the FA and the PL for that matter should be impartial they shouldn't be working for one club and be on the board on the FA like Gill is and David Dein has and others have.

Dermott Gallagher has only recently got a job with sky i think...

Graham Poll works for Espn so is out of fergie's propaganda control

To be honest i post it all in a light hearted way, i am just messing about but there are some strange occurances there.

Do i think the premier league and its referee's are in no way capable of curruption? Of course i do....

The game is worth billion and it has happened in every other league, so to think it doesnt happen here in some way is just stupid.

But it doesn't have to be brown paper envelopes full of ?50's it is taking place in a far more subtle and clever way....

The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Yea they have been on that ?52k a while now though? I would have thought they should have got abit more....

But the incentive of an extra ?500 by getting a premier league game (compared to the lower leagues) is huge for a guy on ?50k a year, im not saying they are poorly paid but compared to the millions managers and players get its peanuts.

So they would always want to keep the right people happy and stay in the prem for sure?

Also i never believe that none of these refs didn't grow up and support/follow/like atleast one of the big teams....i find that very hard to believe

Alot of the older refs were younger lads in the 60's, 70's and 80's....when liverpool were winning, and everyone hates the guy who wins right!

                  Everyone loves the under dog....

Who was the under dog in that era?

Yes of course its capable but i would guess more players than officials though mainly that dodgy looking keeper with wobbly legs

Whilst a ref can have some influence on a game they do in general get most decisions right and they only have one view of it when they do get it wrong its the player acting the majority of the time

                        direct bank transfer????????

                        in a goalie glove???

                        under the doormat???

                        the kitmans bag???

Its true the game can certainly be corrupted but by who??

the glazers?? abramovich?? the sultan of 5hityy?? runway sports group??

to be honest i would say our lot and your lot are less likely than the other 2

but i think if anything its mainly gamblers who have no alliance to anything but money and a big favourite getting beat to a goalkeeping howler is IMO the best way to win money in football

You don't think loving and running a club side and then being VICE CHAIRMAN of the governing body that runs football, states the rules, gives out the punishments and controls the referee's......is abit wrong?

                          Hmmmmm ok mate

and you dont need to be on the board to have friends in high places

I know you don't i mean look how good friends fergie is with Mike Riley, the guy who controls the referee's.

Do you know fergie used to send refs christmas and birthday presents and free tickets to united games every year?

                          Sweet guy hey....

Which blows zee's theory that you have to give man utd decisions to make it big like winter

Jeff winter is not "big" he has forged a career for himself after football but he is not on tv or in the papers at all really.

Wasnt jeff winter at one stage the number 1 referee in England? And they were still able to stop him getting a united game for two years?

What was that you said about howard webb being the top ref and of course that means he will ref the big teams?

                          Hmmmmmm

Lol "get most decisions right" they certainly do where your team are concerned!
I don't think ANY united fan in the world would be disappointed in the refs decisions throughout a game

                          LOL

                          in a goalie glove???
                          under the doormat???
                          the kitmans bag???

I can go one better, how about a lovely salary every year and being in charge of the referee's?...much better than a one off payment

Its true the game can certainly be corrupted but by who??

Maybe the people right at the top? Remind me where David Gills sits again?

                          VICE CHARMAN OF THE F.A

                          Who runs the game?

                          Errrrrrr the F.A

We watch a game controlled by people who have been in the game for 50+ years.

Why hasnt trevor booking and most of the F.A been sacked in the last 15 years for all the crap decisions they make?

Who is going to sack them when they run the game?

Would they sack one of thier own and leave him without a wage.....nah

Most people in football, love football. So who did all these guys love when they were kids? How do we know they dont have deep underlying hatred or love for big clubs?

Would you go apply to be a ref and work your way up the ladder and admit from day one you loved United or always had a soft spot for them as they play great attacking football? Knowing in the future it would mean you could never ref them...meaning you would never get the big games and never make the big money and be high profile?

                          Hmmmmmmmm

Would it be wrong for clubs to realise who favours them and then sweeten them up? "look after them"

"keep them happy"........put in good words for them and make sure they are employed and earn well?

Would managers at the top of the game know everyone else at the top of the game, all the right people in all the right places?

Would you go against a guy who just helped and put in a good word for you in getting a ?50,000 a year job?

Or would you forever remember how nice he was to you and be forever nice back?

I heard today that Clattenburg is believed to have told Mikel he "couldn't give a monkeys" as a response to Mikel complaining about the decisions etc, also Clattenburg will not ref any games this weekend. I hope CFC get points docked for this.
