What is the difference between United and all the other teams in England is best seen today. As the only psychologically strong, do not panic and do not lose it on the ground even when not working, plus they happiness is not friendly. Without Ferguson on the bench, defensive player sent off, probably without the two best defensive players in the league and wider.
And they overcame it!!!Comment

Very tough fixture today and we did well to get the win in the end it is a sign of champions when you can do that with ten men.
Great that Arsenal are finally falling to pieces and their defensive crisis is worse than ours as they now have play ~~~~in Squillaci and Almunia lmao. They did do well though to get it back to 2-2 but that was a tough tie you would expect a champion side to come through.
@ bulldog you will never have peace across the two threads but that said who would want it ? Liverpool and Utd fan's skipping hand in hand down the street lmao no ta. I did not know that many posts were deleted but surely a ban or infraction for the offenders (even if it's me
) would be better than removing whole threads.

yeah i had one removed earlier in week, nothing in it only sarcasm, banter. call it what u want.certainly no bad language."not that i can remember anyhow",even so if remarks are removed from thread, it would certainly help if u could pm and explain for what reason said article(s) had been removed after removal nothing was posted as to reason.so left in dark with no explanation! ps.as far as i was concerned was just friendly banter between myself and another member from the liverpool thread.could not understand why any post was removed.at the time.Last edited by spondulick; 19 March, 2011, 22:39.Comment

I had one removed but that I think was simply to remove the whole subject from the thread as it had potential to go the wrong way (was a real classy post started it). Moderating is required but is only effective in moderation. Sometimes thing are best let to flow rather than swept under the carpet and allowing users to edit posts rather face discipline simply allows the boundaries to be pushed.yeah i had one removed earlier in week, nothing in it only sarcasm, banter. call it what u want.certainly no bad language."not that i can remember anyhow",even so if remarks are removed from thread, it would certainly help if u could pm and explain for what reason said article(s) had been removed after removal nothing was posted as to reason.so left in dark with no explanation! ps.as far as i was concerned was just friendly banter between myself and another member from the liverpool thread.could not understand why any post was removed.at the time.Comment

hey up gents, wow that was one tough game.only just seen the highlights this morning. was a very poor half never got going. the subs changed it for me.cant remember for long time being at a game at ot when it was so frustrating but the relief when it came was amazing.
so glad to get that out of the way and welcome the break now and hopefully get some players returning
and to have done it with ten men against a very well organised bolton side was great testament to the team.
was hard to see the evans tackle at the ground put seeing it on the box you cant raise your studs... and he was like a clown at a circus again yesterday.Comment

right so 9 real trophies as you put it...
just to enlighten you..since 1989...
arsenal..11.
chelsea..10
them......19
us..........10....
real trophies as you put it, so we are still in the top 4... i suppose you will say cup competitions dont count next.
btw, that 19 real trophies might have been 20 if they had not opted to play for a non"real" trophy.....YNWA..Comment

Just to put this in context for you Utd came under severe pressure from the FA to compete in that competition in order to help their World Cup bid with FIFA. Edwards is quoted as saying "United chairman Martin Edwards said the club had "no alternative" but to accept the offer for one year only"right so 9 real trophies as you put it...

He added that the decision had been made "in the national interest". The FA wants United to play in the new tournament in Brazil next January - because they believe it could aid England's 2006 World Cup bid.
The Treble winners were concerned that the inaugural tournament would add to their already hectic fixture schedule, which led to the FA's proposal to ditch the FA Cup. The FA's interim executive director, David Davies thanked United for what he agreed had been an "agonising decision".
Supporters and influential figures within the game have criticised the move, arguing that it devalues the oldest cup competition in world football.
United have always been the pioneers and you might recall (or can read about) the abuse Busby got when he first took an English side into Europe. Chelsea were invited the previous year but turned it down after pressure from the football league, Busby however stood firm and the first English club took it's first steps into European competition. It was Man City that helped Utd in these early stages as Old Trafford had no floodlights and the first games were actually played at Maine Road. The rest as they say is history and for United and the rest of the English league it stood to be a priceless decision. Just one look at the Anfield trophy cabinet should tell you that. Hope that clears that decision up for you.

Which is why they are listed as honours on the official website, along with the Mickey Mouse cups

THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

any club will try and make their honours look as big as possible. but as for classing them as trophies, its not for me.
for me its like this...
1.premier league
2.champions league
3.f.a cup
4.league cup
all else does'nt really matter to me
