Just watched rangers v killmarnock. Never seen so many empty seats! Only 13,000 there and 2,000 of those were from Killi! So much for "follow, follow", can't blame them though..

If season ticket holders stay away it sends a massive message to the directors / board members..

10'000 stayed away from Anfield to show their distain about the then manager (Roy Hodgson).. It was one of the final nails in his managerial coffin..

Sounds like Celtic need a supporters union, one voice for likeminded fans to get behind..

Spirit Of Shankly Liverpool Supporters' Union

Although it must be said, the SoS doesnt get involved with managerial matters.. It concentrates on getting the best deal for supporters

Same happened last year with us and Mowbray mate, only difference was that over 20,000 stayed away - hence the reason why this thread got strated. There are several fans groups at Celtic, but I don't know how united they are - I think they are quite united.

To be fair to the club they do talk to the fans groups, but take notice of them..I'm not to sure? I suppose like many clubs we have issues with how the club is run, but at least now (like you guys) have a manager who most are happy with.

I honestly think that the economic times are having an effect on attendences as well - especially in Scotland where the product is not good. Like Liverpool & United, Celtic & Rangers have thousands of fans coming from other countries to attend games. I can totally appreciate fans from further a field chosing there games now, because you have to cut your cloth accordingly.

For only 11,000 Rangers fans to attend a cup game against a fellow SPL side, when Rangers are the current league champions and before last Sunday all was going very well at ibrox - I find shocking. But to be fair the game was on TV.
