cant say that anyone came out of this with any credit.i think they were all good or bad at some point unfortunately they were never good at the same time.however they seemed to find a way to be very bad all together.Fabio Capello should be shot,from the biggest cannon into the biggest turd we can find.if thats management im dingodave.

I've got a question for you guys & don't worry it's not one of my quiz ones or any reflection on Eng. In your opinion what is the definition of a world class player? Is it a player who would get in a world 11? or a world 15?

tbh I don't think Capellos to blame...if he can't get that team to play together no one can.England were **** poor and the fans deserve better than that,those players should hang their heads in shame.One of the things that really peeved me off was rooney having a go at the fans for booing after the Algeria game as if the fans should just accept a performance like that and be grateful.They are a bunch of overpaid primadonnas and the worst England team I have ever seen!

sorry to say but england are no nearer now to producing a team to compete with the top nations in world or european football, the premiership is awash with foreign players very few kids coming through not looking good for the future,we have never moved on and are no different now than we were 20 years ago,the fa appoint a manager who plays a system 4-4-2 which even most top club sides dont play.this guy uses this system when qualifying and in the world cup finals as well and did not seem to be capable or want to change this system but its not only that english players do not have the technical ability of foreign players thats down to coaching methods at grass roots until the fa rectify this we will never win anything in the next 100 years.the dutch seem to manage it , why cant we .

My guess is David Becham will be given a temporary (Euro 2012 qualifying) role as a thanks for his ambassadorial work on the next World Cup bid that he is presently doing for the FA, Paving the way for Big Alex for the next World Cup in 2014

David Bechans work is almost over with the FA and has been payed handsomely for his efforts with bringing a hopeful WC to the England in 2018 with the announcement on 2 December, If Capello walks away with million of pounds from the FA in the next week or so, Becham already on the payroll could be top of the pile as a cheap replacement with the understanding that the position will be offered in full to Big Alex at the end of the 2010/2011 Premiership.

The FA have stated they do not have the resources to pay off Capello meaning any settlement as they part company will leave the FA looking for a rather cheaper solution but with there heart in the right place, that can only leave Becham holding the boot strings until the Red Devils retire the old Fox.

If England fans were realistic with thier expectations then no one should be surprised that they are on thier way home this early. Theres maybe 3 or 4 decent players in the squad, Rooney, Gerard, Lampard and maybe Cole, Rooney's not fit and Gerard hasn't been having his best season, so why the big dissapointment ? they are simply not good enough and thge sooner England fans wake up to this fact the better. Capello could only work with the tools he had, regardless of systems or who he played, the truth is England are a team of average players, who are made to look good in thier respective league teams by those foreign players around them.

i aint blaming hooligans. but clearly the amount of mediocre foreign players in the premiership is stopping, not only english, but british talent coming through.
btw i support newport county. (might need to google that)
