hoz is 2 blame for englands downfall this time is it the players or is it the management teams fault i think its prob both as the players played with no pride or passion in there games with the management they couldnt or wouldnt change things when things r going wrong. i like the look of the south american teams they seem to play with pride for their countries .england looked good on paper but poor on pitch back 2 basics is required imho..

Agree. I think the south americans have been excellent. Though to be fair so have Germany - a young side playing with freedom & flair, very unlike German sides of the past. Spain although not hitting their straps still look good too.

Argentina look great, but you've got to worry about the back four against Klose, Podolski & co.

Brazil have always been my fav's for the cup, but everyone seems to have written off the Dutch..

the football WAS crap. and when i say ruined by hooligans i mean watching and enjoying football as a whole. and was it not your beloved "koppites" that got english clubs band from europe, that couldn't of helped the english game.

To be fair it wasn't just them, what about the press as a whole? The Sun already adding another star! The many comments about it "being our time","our best chance since 66" & the best of all "the golden generation."

All this gets transmitted to the public, many of whom really believed Eng would win it. It's happened before & I'm sure it will happen again.

Nope not anymore, After the standards i have seen throughout this world cup i can safely say i will not put my faith in england anymore. We might win Euro 2012 though..
