I managed to get to play the first training level, d2xv6(57) (HDD, wiiflow) once i completed the level it bombed out (black screen) gonna try it again later.

When you switch it back on you will find that it has saved at that point and you won't have to do it again. Not sure if this will happen after every mission or just the first

I have just removed all my gx channels and settings so that I can try the driver fix file and can personally confirm that if you follow the instructions that are with the files remembering that when you are asked to install from network the default is install from wad so you need to press right on the dpad once then hit a to install from network if you follow these instructions and do not change any settings in usbloader gx your game will work and will not freeze at the end of the missions.


Just tested this game loading from DVD and it works perfectly using the dvd mount option in gx but I had forgotten just how long things take to load from dvd....Man am I glad I changed to hdd

Here you go for anyone wanting to play Driver san francisco and can't get it to run Digital Kaos - Downloads - Driver San Francisco Fix. this will patch ios 249 and install usbloader gx. Should also work for you costa loading from disk through this loader with the mount dvd drive option on the top right of the screen and make sure 249 is selected in settings. If you already have usb loader gx installed try loading on 249 before patching ios

Cheers happy gonna try this but my IOS 56 is v5662 (lower version number) is there any reason why i cant install it to slot 250? as i was gonna try and keep my dx2 on 249.

gonna try and play again first using my defult 249 dx2 (thing is i changed it from the default setting and now it wont change back to my 249 in wiiflow) think i have to look thro the wiiflow settings file and delete the change ( if i can find it..) any ideas!!

yep got the usb loader gx dont have mount dvd drive option on the top right of the screen just count down 4 usb i get

It was installing cios 249 v 20 that got it going gx is just a loader same as neogamma but both use 249 as a base so all good

not happening cant find the wad on wad mannerger 1.5

The wads are normally stored in the Wad folder but some on the root of the SD card so you have to locate them there?

Now I've never had much success with Wad Manager 1.5/1.7 I've always used Multi-Mod Manager 13.4 and it always worked.

I am using usbloader gx full channel r938 and my cios 249 has been previously patched with cod black ops patch both are in the downloads section.

Now I don't have any problems playing Call of Duty - Black Ops and I don't use any alt.dol fixes or patches?

I can play the training levels and it doesn't black out it only locks up trying to play the main game.

The only game that hasn't run before out of the 84 I've downloaded is Wii Ultimate I Spy (oh and now Driver San Francisco) it starts at the safety screen you press A and the screen goes black and it buzzes all the time.

Sorry about that mate completely forgot the gx won't start without a usb hdd plugged in..It's a long time since i used gx or disks but anything that patches ios 249 and works on gx should work on neogamma.

costa you may have more problems than others as the wii can only read dvdr at half the speed it reads an original disc which is why hdd is far superior as the wii reads them at the proper speed. Ghostbusters is a game that struggles on disk but has no problem on hdd due to the read speed.

me too and 100000 pyramid tried everything with that now over 180 titles good so far!

I don't know anything about the d2x wads but seeing as you have them installed jimja I am assuming you will know more about them than me at this stage so this will probably be of much more use to you Digital Kaos - Downloads - d2xv7 wad pack it is the version 7 cios wad pack for the d2x patches. Obviously I haven't tried them but they have come from the same source as the version 6 patches that you are using
