I am back, I went to have a look on some notes that I have written down while softmodding...
- at the beginning hackmii installer v0.8
test results are in
using ios versions installer s8,HBC:58
the homebrew channel can be installed
bootmii can only be installed as an ios
the installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install(-2)

So I suppose I have only been given the choice of ios install.

I try to switch on the console via remote and it does turn on (console flash once) and black screen.

Any ideas?

ok so what did you do last night with the games which one gave a black screen?
did you install the usbloadergx and wad forwarder that hh pointed you too?

the game that gave me black screen was "bolt", after the black screen I press and hold power button on consolle to power down . I have re turn on the console after without problem and do a couple of more backups of my games( just dance and another one....) downloaded the covers and play one song and went to bed.

I can't really remember if I have install usbloadergx and I don't think i have wad anything

is bolt and the other games the same region as your console and are you sure the console was on 4.3 before you started

console is definately on 4.3e but I am not sure of the region of bolt because after i downloaded i use wiibackupmanager and transferred to my hdd (on doing that it converted the file in wbfs)....

It did freeze and I remember holding down reset and power button together to switch off console. But this is the point now I think I did wrong : I have press power on its own to power the console up and I went to hbc, press home, launch bootmii, manage priiloader, edit priiloader hacks and enabled the two options.
So a matter of fact I never switch on console by pressing and holding power&reset together to load priiloader? Is it possible that I never install priiloader? But to be hounest I tought i did because I managed to enable the two options.

I am not sure of the region of bolt

If you use USB Loader GX and you click on the 5th icon on the top that shows the game picture on the left and the games list on the right above the picture it tells you the version NTSC, PAL or RF. That shouldn't make any difference as I play all types of games without a problem.

I don't have bolt but I have the 3 Just Dance games and they all play.

To enable the block updates options you must have installed priiloader remove all the leads for a few minutes and go through ensuring they are plugged back in correctly then hold down reset and press the power on button. You should boot into priiloader

have you tried to boot into priiloader with the sd card and all usb devices removed

I don't see a sysCheck report in here have you ever done one?

There as got to be something a miss if your having these problems.

Keith the wii is bricked we are trying to find solutions. Priiloader might be installed, an attempt was made to install but doesn't seem to functioning. We know something has gone wrong but don't know what. Everything appeared to have installed and a game loaded from hdd, then the wii bricked so you won't have seen a syscheck. At this point everything is heading towards savemii but this can't be done without a gamecube controller and isn't very successful anyway.

How old is the wii....the fact that nothing can be accessed means you may be able to get a replacement. The black screen problem is not uncommon in wii's that haven't had a softmod done and may be coincidence. I had one that done the same thing before a softmod was done when doing an official update, so if it's les than a year old send it back and cross your fingers, that is if nothing works to recover it.

The wii is a second hand that I bought from blockbusters....I don't think I can return it .....you mentioned a savemii procedure could you please point me in the right direction so I can read a bit about it?
Once again thanks for helping me, I am sure that it is only down to me that I missed something....
