No reason why hdd is not being recognised cios are all ok uninstall the loaders and put the latest versions on failing that go back to an older version and see if that works

That sysCheck looks ok apart from d2x v8.0 missing but that shouldn't stop the HDD being recognized.

"I MMMed and did what MMM wanted me to do"

Are you getting confused with ModMii as Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) doesn't tell you to do anything?

If your HDD was recognized before then I don't see why it isn't anymore unless you have changed how you added the games, what format have you used?

D2x v8 is present.....all the cios ending in 210008 are d2x v8 that is the code numbers for them

Well I'm just going by what the sysCheck b18 report says.

          Mine says.

IOS245[37] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS246[38] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access

I know its the same rev 21008 but why doesn't it say d2x-v8final with Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0, or hasn't he posted a full report?

Yes reinstall whatever loader you are using on the wii that doesn't work or put a different loader on it. Remember you should always extract your files straight to the directory you are going to use them from...I.e straight into teh apps folder on the sd/usb

                  Hello,
i have the same problem stated in the caption.
I have to fix a wii from a friend. He did not know, what happend, but now, the cfg usb loader doesn't detect any usb drive. I tried 2 different harddisks and 1 USB Stick; all of them worked with my soft modded wii. If I start the usb loader on his wii, the counter begins and detect nothing.

When I start wii media player, it detects a USB Drive and I can see all my files on it.

                  What I did:
new Softmod with current modmii 6.15
tried cfg usb loader and wii coverflow loader
                  deinstalled hbc and reinstalled
update only missing or newer cios with modmii and syschecker

                      Welcome to DK timster.

That sysCheck looks ok so is everything working as it should do e.g. USB Loaders?

If you have some time pls check my sys check above. I have downloaded your zip file followed your instruction guide inside and still cant find hdd. Just so you know the port closest to the end wont start the Hdd (light on hdd) but when i put it on the inside at least it can start it but the usb loader cant read it. ANY HELP WELCOME. I have been on this for 2 weeks now. Due to the fact that my wife wants to see some TV.

Thats sysCheck doesn't look to bad. Your IOS236 is an older number this is important for installing cIOS wads. What you could do is run ModMii from Windows and use the SU option then type in the location of your sysCheck.csv file. That will check for any updates, and add them into a COPY_TO_SD sub folder. It will add [IOS236-v5-Mod] folder to the apps folder that should install the newer IOS236, the IOS36 needs to be on the root of the SD card. Install that first from Homebrew.

You're also using d2x v.70 you may as well add the d2x v8 Final wad pack

ModMii will only adds 2 d2x v8.0 wads cIOS249 and cIOS250 so you may as well install all those d2x v8.0 wads.

I'm not saying this will make your HDD be recognised but there is nothing you can do wad wise to make it work. Its down to is the drive compatible and how you have the games loaded onto it.

Are you suggesting that he installs a forwarder channel to run his games from with no further info about what loader to install into what folder on what device and that he will be able to run a wbfs formatted drive with just a forwarder channel and no sd card installed to store apps on...............Have you ever seen my post to newbies that states there is no such thing as stupid questions just stupid answers and I have just pointed out how stupid some answers are on your last two posts. Please bear in mind people come here for help and the wrong info is much worse than no info and is the fastest way to cause inexperienced users to brick their console
