sorry to go off on a tangent (I am on the iPad)

I tried to download cheats for NSMB (I am terrible at it so thought 98 lives might help ) and now get an IOS reload blocked error when I try to run it.. It then just goes to black screen (pls tell me my wii is not fully blocked or something)

do I need to reinstall WADS?

do I need to install GX Loader to get cheats working?

      thanks

You posted a sysCheck before and that looked ok unless you've added or removed some IOS's then there isn't much point.

You can run sysCheck again and compare it with your original post before to see if there are any changes.

thanks both - the problem is isolated to CGF USB Loader, I am now using GX and it's fine.

the problem *may* have been caused by me selecting all cheats in ocarina using CFG. In GX I only selected one..

anyways, rather than investigate more - I'm off to use my cheat in NSMB - 41 going on 14!!!

I haven't turned on my wii for almost a year and now I'm having the same issues as others in here. I will go through the thread and try to get it working again. Thanks in advance guys. Wish me luck!

Thats a sysCheck v2.1.0b11 report and you haven't removed all the spaces as a sysCheck report is big enough on it own.

Now you've made 1 post you can download sysCheck Beta18 and post a report as intructed in that link.

Thats just a report after its been softmodded with nothing else added. Follow my instructions in

Well thats exactly the same as your other sysCheck apart from it has the Drive date.

I will tell you what you need to do. Download ModMii6.2.1.zip and run it from Windows. Now that you have the sysCheck.csv file from the sysCheck on the root of the SD card you can use that to add all the updated wads to the SD card.

From the main menu type in SU (sysCheck Update). The type in the location of your sysCheck.csv file. That will show you a list of about 21 wads that you need to install with MMM which it supplies. Just type Y = Yes, Generate Guide and Begin Downloading. That will put everything in the COPY_TO_SD sub folder. Just add them all to the SD card. The new ModMii now adds PriiLoader 0.7 but it doesn't add the hack.ini on the root of the SD card so it won't work.

ModMii only adds 2 d2x v8 wads cIOS249 and cIOS250 so you may as well add the other from d2x v8 final wad pack to the wad folder on the SD card.

Run Homebrew and click on IOS236 Installer v5 MOD, that will install IOS36 on the root of the SD card into IOS236. You MUST do this first before you install the other wads with MMM. Run Multi-Mod Manager (MMM) and installed all the wads in the wad folder and wait for the Installed OK message after each one.

It adds a SIP folder in the apps folder which is a Simple IOS Patcher which is supposed to install IOS36, IOS60, IOS70 and IOS80 but these are supplied by ModMii so there is no point in running that app.

You can download PriiLoader 0.7 that has the hack.ini file in it just add that to the SD card root. This will block any online and disc updates.

Come back out and run a new sysCheck and post the results.

I too can't get my HDD recognized. I'm a bit unsure what I've tested the last 24 hours, but can anyone spot anything wrong here?

                          I tried:
                          Digital Kaos - Downloads - Usbloader gx 2.3 r1128 and d2x v7 with mmm 13.4

but I can't see IOS236 that is mentioned in the guide.

                          Thanks.

Yes that report only shows you've installed d2x v7.0 and nothing else. Have a read on this thread.

You need Full Cios wad pack

Now you have a sysCheck.csv you can use the SU option in ModMii to add the missing wads.

Same issue after trying to update from 3.4E to 4.1E using ModMii. Really hoping that WAD pack solves it.

                                EDIT: No such luck.

I have no idea why it's saying "Homebrew Channel 1.0.0 running on IOS0" - the version shown on the Wii is 1.1.2 on IOS58 v24,32. I have used both an NTFS external HDD (that previously worked before I tried upgrading with ModMii) and a FAT32 usbstick. I am using Configurable USB Loader but the USB drives weren't being picked up by WAD manager that ModMii installed either.

Thanks for whatever help you can provide.
