yes this will work for you,and no you dont need to format your wii

like ck says there is no need to format ur wii this only removes game saves it doesnt do anything to system files

I need to format SD card as FAT (standard) wich is FAT16 and not FAT32... but what is the difference.. what if I did it with FAT32?

fat 32 is ok

when your on the homebrew chanall push the home button

is bootmii installed as ios, or boot2. go to homebrew channel press the home button as ck says, launch bootmii should be listed, or if installed as boot2 it should auto launch when the wii is powered up if the bootmii folder is on sd card

ok mate then it must installed as boot2 or not installed at all. put ur bootmii files on the root of ur sd then power up ur wii, it should auto load

It's installed, I reinstalled bootmii, put sd card back in computer and I can see the map bootmii with the necessary files.. but it doesnt show on homebreww and also nothing when I press home button..
Its installed as bootmii ios, I can't install it as boot2
