no need to you can just reinstall straight over the top of the homebrew channel and any other mods you have done it wont cause any harm

format card to fat 32 then you need bannerbomb files these are not in the 4.2 file pack,look at the older tut just lower down on the first page install homebrew channel dvdx and bootmii the follow the first tut

have you installed the cios installer from here Digital Kaos - Downloads - MPlayer CE cIOS Installer it wont work without it

I downloaded it now.
Went to modmananger and started the install through the Apps mananger.
It started the installation and at USE AT OWN RISK ;D

It downloaded and installed. Still Mounting Error.

And when going in to DVD video it says Opening Stream for 0.3 sec then it shows nothing but the background.

mate thats what I have been doing following tut in white, installing bannerbomb.
Goes fine and get Load boot.dol/elf(if you paid you been scammed).

Then i press 'yes'and get Neither /boot.dol nor /boot. elf could be found

This is why I thinking about starting a fresh

cant find any posts with similar prob,must just be me!

Right done that and when I boot up I get a Bootmii screen,Hurrah...

Unfortunatley it does nothing else, I just read in a wii guide you need a GC controller to navigate it?

I dont know if I have one? The wii remote does nothing not even the home button, I end up having to switch it off and take the SD card out to reboot!

Edit forget that aswell, just twigged gotta be done on wii itself.

Just bought a black WII, with system menu 4.2e

Looking to follow this tutorial to softmod my wii, along with installing the homebrew channel via the latest bannerbomb.

Can anyone confirm this is the correct way to go about it? Anything I am missing?

dvd loading can take a long time, give it a couple of mins to load,see if that works for you
