Yeah did it word by word i have no problems running Homebrew stuff and have all the ISO (i think). I'm using DVD RWs.
The only thing i think i might have done is when you stub the ISO i might have deleted some others.

looks like your discs are a problem dvd-rw are no good for back ups use a good quality dvd-r and burn with imgburn

yes i think that is your problem but if you think you have deleted something run the safe firmware updater Digital Kaos - Downloads - v4.2 safe firmware updater

one last question, will i need anything else to run NSMB and SMBB?

Yes it does, but you won?t be able to run backup DVD?s.
I use it with an USB HDD.

u will have to re mod if u have updated to 4.2. yes u can partiion ur hdd to wii and windows
