so what happens exactly when u try to install priloader

try installing this with wad manager its a patched ios 70,and the wii sports resorts is asking to install a ios for the game to run,it wont screw up your mod,and when you say update the homebrew channel to 4.2 do you mean the shop channel? if so use the safe shop updater from my post earlier as dellboy13 said the official nintendo update screwed up his 4.2 mod

Hi Guys
The issue is the following:
I have downloaded the Priiloader_v0_2_rev32 and copied all its contents to the SD card. I have also copied the hacks.ini file to the root, as well as left everything else on there from the complete softmod (MMM version that dell suggested).
When I put the SD card in the wii, and run homebrew, it does give me an option to install priiloader, its as if its not showing there. Am I doing something wrong?

When I refer to wii sports, im just giving it as an example in that basically when you put in an original game disc, in the top left hand channel it basically states that it a wii system update is required. I havent selected it, as I know this will brick the wii. Short360 mentioned that once priiloader is installed, you have an option to disable all disk updates, which will do the job.

So the crux of it guys, is that I need to

1. install priiloader on the system. For some reason I cant get it on there, and the issue when I followed ade's mod tut was that if you want to install priiloader on wii 4.2 you need to

2. update the IOS70-64-v668.wad file. Its when I run this through the MMM app that it tells me that there is an error.

I think everything else is sorted the main probs are the ones above.

download neogamma r8 wad and install that and just play your disks through that it automatically skips updates and region checks. also are u putting priloader in apps on sd card

good advice short, but dont you think i should still install priiloader in order to take a backup or now that i have got this far all should be ok?

Also, when making a copy of an original game that I may borrow from my friend, or when wanting to run a copied game from the USB HD, I guess Uloader will enable me to copy or run the copied games?

ok put the preloader folder in your apps folder fire up homebrew channel and you will see it there click on it and click start,as for the ios70 i posted you that in my last post,extract it and put it in your wads folder and install it with the mmm

thanks ck. do i keep the hacks.ini file in the root or put it in the priiloader folder? Also what about the priiloader MSinfo doc, this is also on the root of the card. Should it be placed in the priiloader folder, or in the apps folder?

the hacks stop on root of sd card and the info file in preloader folder

I then tried running the IOS70 file you gave me, and its still the same problem. It says there is an error.

give it a try thats the setting i use,run the patched ios70 first

hi ck, ive installed priiloader, but when i go into system menu hacks it says couldnt find any hacks for system menu version v482. Obviously I want to go in here and amend the settings to disable disk updates. what's next?

take your hacks off sd card and put these on root of sd card
