Softmodding A Black Wii

When trying to create image. Just can't pick anything up off the disc.

Guys, was in priiloader and i selected the system menu button and its now frozen on a black screen which says 4.2 (EUR) in bottom right hand screen. Ive tried switching it off, and getting it back on but it seems to to come back on. How do I get it back to main screen.

no i switch the unit off at the mains, and then switch it back on and it goes to this main screen which has 4.2(EUR) on the bottom right. I dont have a gamecube controller, or anything else and it seems that the wii controller cant connect.,

Its ok short, thankfully I remember reading keep reset button pressed when switching on and it went back to the main priiloader menu, so panic over

reboot wii and hold in reset button will get you into preloader

what was the problem mate?

i was stuck in the system menu, so by switching it on and holding down reset it took me back to the main priiloader menu.
I just need to try and get hold of the bootmii file now to run the backup as i dont have that in the root of my sd card in order to run the back up from bootmii IOS in priiloader.

i dont think u need the boomii folder on sd card if its ios. go to homebrew channel and press home then launch bootmii

when does the blue lights come on?after you have selected bootmii?

try reinstalling bootmii with the hackmii installer

do you have the link? Also can I just reinstall the bootmii as IOS as I have a black wii and apparently the boot2 doesnt work?
Also do I need to take a back up? Guess its probably best to, but Im just concerned i'll end up doign something wrong and making matters worse?
