ck-ok just got home from work did what u said but there is no option of boot to system hack in MMM
please help as i am now getting in the neck from her in doors the kids will be next :-(

just read that if u rename the bootmii folder on your sd card to bootmii_old it will boot the wii system menu, did it and it worked and i now can accsess the priiloder page yee harr all good i think now on to back up discs!

if i rename the bootmii file will it still load priiloader and prevent updates ?

h,i getting dvd error 1167 when i try to load cod in neogamma using vabatum and ingburn, wii will paly backup dvds(movies) have done a search but nothing came up. the game is ntsc version but i have enableld any region. any help would be graetfully recived

im sure the wii can't play wet fish .
anyway are you using dvd-r verbatim and burning with imgburn at slowest speed.

how old is your wii if its newish you may have a d3-2 drive that cant play backup games or movies so you may have to use a hdd or usb pen

oops so youv'e updated to 4.3 and you want to remod your wii or mod it for the first time then follow this tut for 4.3e/u

first your gonna need to install homebrew channel to do that you will need one of these games Indiana Jones Original Adventures(ntsc-u/pal) -4.3u/e
or
Super Smash Bros Brawl(ntsc-u) -4.3u

format sd card to fat 32
Use a standard SD-Card, 2g or less

download the hack from here Digital Kaos - Downloads - 4.3 hack files and unzip Hackmii_0.8_IP_SS_BB2.zip, and put on sd card

then follow this if you using indiana jones

Works with 4.3u/e
-Play Lego Indiana Jones Original. Start a new game and complete level one with the nunchuk attached then make a saved game, then exit to System Menu.
-Go to wii settings, data management, save games, wii, SD
Delete the Lego Indiana Jones Save Game.
-Click SD, copy Indiana PWNS for your region
-Play Lego Indiana Jones original without the nunchuk attached load save game slot 1
-
When the game loads, you will be in Barnett College. Walk to the Art Room (through the Courtyard), approach the left character on the podium. When it zooms on him, choose the switch to option (two silhouettes, staggered, with an arrow pointing between them).

this will start hackmii installer.

if your using super smash brothers brawl then do this.

Smash Stack - Works with 4.3u
-Load SSBB ntsc, with sd-card removed, make a save file if asked
-Go to the stage builder, delete all custom stages found, exit the stage builder
-Exit all the way back to the main SSBB menu
-Insert SD-CARD, Go back to the stage builder
-HackMii Installer loads


now you can install homebrew channel and bootmii


Read the Scam warning and press 1
It may take a minute or two for the "press 1" to appear- be patient
Install the HomeBrew Channel
Install Bootmii as Boot2(boot2 may not be available, IOS installs automatically)
Prepare the SD-card

now you need to do a nand backup

Load HBC, press -HOME-, launch Bootmii
Make a nand backup
Press Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset (or use gc-controller)
Power = Right, Eject = Left, Reset = Select

make sure you save these to your pc for safe keeping
nand.bin
bootmii
keys.bin

format sd card again and extract modpack from the folder you downloaded earlier to sd card
run md5summer.exe and click verify sums and check theres no errors

now you need to install your wads.

Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
Multi-Mod Manager Starts (via cboot2)
Never Uninstall IOS, you will brick your wii
Select "WAD Manager" - Press A
Press (1) to "Install all Wads" - Press A
19 wads should install without issue
"Press any button to continue"
Be sure all the wads install, very important
If the wads fail to install, install 1 at a time
Press B two times- main menu

thats it nearly finished just need to install priiloader
You should now be at the main menu of Multi-Mod Manager
Select "App Manager" -press A
Select priiloader -press A
Read the warning- Press +/A to install -if needed Hold B press +/A to install with cIOS
After priiloader installs, it may freeze during restart- this is ok
Hold reset and boot wii while holding reset- priiloader will load
Select "System Menu Hacks"- Press A
Enable "Block Disk Updates", and "Block Online Updates", others if you like
If MMM loads at boot, select Manage Priiloader, Edit Priiloader Hacks, enable needed hacks.
If you don't know what the hack does- you don't need it.
Your wii should now block Disk updates and online updates



Note: Prilloader installer gives two errors-
/loader.ini couldn't delete error -106
/password.txt couldn't delete error -106
this is not a problem just carry on

just get it to the latest possible setup i had even thought about ditching the the d2pro and going for flatmii or same sort of thing as i was told that if i update to 4.3 all i will lose is the ability to play ntsc on my pal machine

Having a bit of a problem today with rar files.

I am trying to unrar a Wii game file that has been compressed to around 187mb.

When I click on the file using winrar I expected it to appear on the desktop as a iso file at 4.37gb but all the shows up is a winrar archive file at 4.37gb. I have magic iso installed as well

Then when I click on this file it pops up
The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

Is there something i've not done correctly as i've tried this on a number of game files with the same results??

if you dont want the loaders then install all the wads except neogamma/loadmii/usbgx/cios70 and cios80 if you want them then all of them except cios70/80. and loadmii.
i would recommend making a nand backup before installing.

softmodding is just the same as a normal wii,follow the tut from here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-mod-157379/ once you have modded it the you can downgrade too 4.1
