i modded my wii a few years ago and all was good untill it got updated by accident.

Obviously you didn't follow the guide to the letter and install PriiLoder 0.7 to block any updates.

hey guys i know theres been a lot of explaining in this forum, but am looking for a complete guide to softmod wii 4.3e and then install uloader, could you point me in the right direction

This is the 4.3 mod thread just read the posts starting with using LetterBomb to softmod that I made on page 18.

There are plenty of USB Loader threads just search for them or look at the titles.

Thanks for the guides, I previously used them to mod a 4.2 wii but it got updatedd to 4.3 so time for the letterbomb fix

Did Letterbomb work straight off without any delay?

The first time I used Letterbomb it worked straight off but the two other Wii's after I waited hours for the red envelope to appear. I posted the MAC address a couple of times but it still didn't appear. So I had to softmod used the game disc method.

I have been cruising the HackWii concept for a few days now and I think I'm ready to jump in. If I'm not too busy alaying games or b:trying to fix my wii; then I will post with my experience in hopes to educate or "lighten up the load" for others on their journey.

hi guys i followed this to the dot but keep getting dvd read error i no its not my backup disks because i have another wii thats softmoded i have also checked the seriel number on the site and it says qoute
There is a 100% chance the chipset is Combined GC2-D3 with no drive chip
so does that mean it will be able to read backup disks

Do a sysCheck and look at the Drive date if its after 2009 then it won't play burnt discs.

Mine is Drive date: 2008.07.14 and I get a DVD read error 1167 when I try and play burnt discs. But I'm not bothered as my USB drive works a treat.
