Hello! I am new to this forum. I am posting because, similar to these folks here, my ink cartridges are new and yet the Epson sx125 suddenly won't recognize them anymore. This is a program to reset the print head somehow? Thanks!

Issue with download onto MAC-pro

I have a macbook pro and was interested in downloading your adjust program. Since it is a windows program, I opened it on my mac with crossover. The screen with accept/decline came up. I pressed accept. Then when I pressed select on the next screen, nothing happened. Any advice?

Thanks for the link. I got my son an Epson SX 130 and it's irritating me a lot that the ink carts keep registering as empty. You can shake them and hear the ink inside. I just hate the restrictions these printer manufacturers are putting on printers. Will give the util a go. I also saw WIC, but for the price it might be worth buying a hardware chip resetter which can be used multiple time.

Best solution.... Throw away the mac & get a real pc.
second solution.... If it's got an intel chip you can dual boot windows.
third place... borrow a laptop.


As to everyone posting about cartridges not working.

Buy better quality inks. Or try rubbing the chip with a pencil rubber.

Epson style sx130 disatisfied me. Black Ink cartrige is unrecognized. This always happen when ink level in cartrige is low. Maybe resetting ink counter can help me?

Indeed, the printer doesn't want to print anymore because the black and cyan cartridges are "empty". But the last page printed was in good quality. So I assume the black one is not totally empty...

With your software, I have correctly re-initialized the waste ink counter (now it's written "0%" on the counter).

But the printer still doesn't want to print because the cartridges are empty. Have you a solution for me?

This may sound a bit too obvious....

Change the ink cartridges. If there's no ink registering it won't print.

Only non epson cartridges will run till empty.
