it comes up with the code #83QV93J-595B

I been given a computer to look at by a friend, he bought of ebay.
It requires the system or Admin Password
I've spent about 4 hour on the net and completely pulling it a part to short the EEPROM chip(not possible on this model too by the way.

Would it possible to get the password
Service tag is 5NCYV1S-595B

Following i did but result is -VE
1. Detached the CMOS battery and started the system
2. Detached the harddisk
3. booted with ubuntu,,,,,,,

did you post your tag in the correct case as passwords and tags are case sensitive
