HD boxes are starting to take the new firmware updates according to this post on another forum posted 18th March.

I suspect this update will eventually stop the the HD channels from being shared.

2am Tuesday morning is what I meant. Please don't come here saying your box hasn't updated, it's being done in batches and only DRX890/5, with the 595 release at a later date. So if you have those boxes, you will get the new software eventually.
The DRX890/5 models will start receiving updates from 2am tomorrow.

There is no information regarding Pace / Samsung or Amstrad DRX870 boxes either.

This automatically puts your box into RED standby mode overnight if you don't have any recordings scheduled or using your box at that time and it wakes itself up later so it's ready for use.

Dolby Digital over HDMI

Allows you to use DD over HDMI if your TV supports it, it can be enabled via the Settings menu & then Sound. The DRX585 already does this out of the box.

Not really, these rumors have been going around for ages. Obviously they're going to do something to stop it. But when, no one knows. Just enjoy it while it lasts. Even then, i dont see CS coming to an end.

I believe so. It seems to be people with the later Amstrad boxes.

Well if it is causing problems with the older amstrad models,
They won't want to have to replace all the old amstrads aswell as the pace models?

Early days yet, not everyone has been affected, just seems to be the newer cards.

A few years ago everyone thought it was all over then a new version of cccam came out and it was game on.
