the last 2 week or so every other day usually when the footys on between 2130-2200 something happens on my box and ECM are allover the place like 80 90 stupid numbers i try restarting oscam and that doesnt seem to work happens for about 5 mins or so and then back to normal so i definitely think they are upto something and also i have a backup box and have watched them both at the same time and it happens to both, not happened yest or today as far as i know
also i have a very basic oscam ccam config i dont have a whitelist in there do you guys think it is necessary or should i leave alone as everything is pretty much perfect apart from the current blips i just mentioned

also i have just noticed this on oscam webif can anyone tell me what the 4 is for?

I could not quote you the figures as i do not have access to them but when i subbied for them now well over 2 years ago, On service calls i was handing out refurb HD for standard SD then so that 4 million mark is a little on the exaggerated side i would imagine its either halved or less than half by now.

I would always use whitelist of known lenghts, here is one I updated 2 months back zapping all channels

That ecmwhitelist is out of my Oscam Reader for that Sub.. I see you are using cccam as server, If you use Oscam to read the card, just add that line to the reader entry for your card..

Can we please not mention anything else about configs for a certain UK provider, please take heed of what satsmo posted above or else we will end up with the thread being closed, lets please try and keep it on track with the current discussion about the pairing procedure and not about trying to get Oscam to work.

@waj_uk i have had to edit out your post above with the config as it mentions the provider by name as well as channel data. Again please no more config posts.

Looking at the s#yviewinghelp webpage , it seems clear to me they are only implementing changes/updates to boxes that have this Receiver ID & it only states that viewing maybe lost to certain channels if you (the customer & own a box that has Receiver ID) don't provide some information.

They must know there are millions of boxes out there that don't have this receiver ID.

I was at a mates house the other night, he subs to s#Y & has multiroom to about 3 extra boxes, one of which is SD box.

I know a few people that have multiroom with the main box being HD & their multiroom boxes being SD boxes.

He's had no letter saying some services might not work, so is he SD box going to be able to carry on as normal ?

Sly have been having problems with their card pairing system today,
I have had to replace 3 pvr4 amstrads today as card reader has burnt out on them,
When calling sly to pair cards back up they have asked to call back later as their system is down.... and this has been for most of today,
So they may be having some problems with this new software....
