is it just me or are others getting hammered with massive ecm's today?? obviously on favourite channels and not random,appears to be affecting all of them(SD and HD).my own card and first time its really affected me.

i'll be getting hammered later but yes bad this morning

I'm getting high ecms and glitching for the first time today on Sly Sports 1 whilst watching the Cricket. Both SD and HD versions of Sly sports 1 were affected. It lasted for a few hours until I got fed up and restarted the server and ecms were back to normal.

Watched the cricket, no issues. Everything spot on.

You have it so good.

For the past 3 weeks ive had to cope with 256k broadband.. 3 bloody weeks.. too even load and post this ive got glitching on the telly box ..

This morning i woke up and a BT engineer was spray painting my lawn.. i stuck my head out and he said oh your lines nackered . we're going to dig the footpath and your lawn ..

Virgin throttling shouldnt affect it mate.

my setup ran off a cloned 0.2meg for months, the amount of data being used is minimal.

That maybe but any affect on latency and Ping will cause a problem

i think throttle was the wrong word... the ping on pingtest to maidenhead 150 miles away was 120ms with 43ms jitter. my system never glitches and is usually flawless but in peak times virmin,s system cant handle the numbers so this effects quality of connection. ive been with vm for 5 years and its gradually got worse over the last 18 months so its time to speak with my wallet and go elsewhere. regards mdt

No problem for me.... I have never put my official card into my reciever though... It is still updating entitlements and all channels are fine.

I have tried again without the card and no problem. It must be spcific to certain cards, areas, or err something else.....

Not sure about that , my cards were suffering bad few weeks ago regularly , today been near perfect .... Have changed setup slightly in the week , oscam with cachex 3 set up ... 90 percent of my ecm today have come from cache3 mode ... Also moved from virgin to bt 2 days ago ... May just be coincidence and non of the above has anything to do with it , they may just of given me a day off today

I have a *** card & they have taken their foot of the throttle with this as recent.

i have been getting hammed on certain channels at random no pattern both with oscam and cccam tried various things ie cccam and oscam versions smargo omnikey derbian ubuntu pc enigma box none of which have worked the only thing that has worked was when i borrowed a mates card so i recon at the moment it is card specific

Major probs today using my local card. Not just monter 400ms+ ecms, but twice today oscam has stopped reading my card for a minute or so, giving big timeouts. Starts working again a minute or so later, never had this problem before as my box has been working fine for months and months..

something new maybe?
