It does not matter if you update in oscam or not. Read the story 1 page back. Even in oscam if they send the specific emm to your card you loose the premiums and HD channels.

my cards has not been in my box since day one, updates in oscam all ok,

talk back ( phone line ) is disabled from sly manager as no phone line

my entitlements are to end off may and in fact as off posting there have active from my own box to it.

in oscam you can only get one true person to update the cards, or am i wrong??? have always used dvbapi

They didnt call. ordered a new channel from their website, put the card in official box for 30 min once the new channel was working. That was the end. Entitlements are 29/05/13

why would you? i have added channels and always been in reader, updates within 30 secs

hmm wonder if cheap 2nd hand box will be flooding ebay soon then ? tbh I will still be looking at a vu+ box even as a freesat box media streamer etc etc while my f3 will still be a great freesat box with recording ability (on the same channel as watched of course) maybe something will come out to fix this maybe it wont but your box still has use.

a few people on some site have said they have had logs sent to oscam makers.

Werid in my eyes, as why someone would put the card in their box to update has, sorry to say " done themselfs "

They could be a fix like box key or something added to oscam, who knows until IF or WHEN it goes for everyone.

Can any of the people that for whatever reason update their cards in the official box, please state the model of the box and their geographical location (within reason) & the results whether partial or full entitlement updates.. Hopefully we can better understand the roll out system that is being used for these card updates..

All HD channels not working, all Sports , all Movies not working. SD channels are working half of them. For Example you would find that Nat Geo +1 work while Nat Geo doesnt. And history SD would not work while History SD +1 still work. Also almost all paid for asian channels not working. Both Cccam and Oscam opening so few channels.

This started after card was put in official box to add a new channel.

lm getting the same problem that you are facing, mine started a few days ago after an update now doing the same thing that you explained.Please let me know if you have found a way around it, l have tried everything and lm stuck now...

As an experiment, I took a card from a 1TB Sky+HD box that has only ever been used in that box and tried it in a Vu+ with OScam installed - worked perfectly, HD and SD channels open, entitlements until June.

It seems to be just newbies with problems.

Updating a 0963 card in a original STB was the way that most of us updated the entitlements ...

It doesn't matter where you update the card, if it receives the specified emm it does not work anymore. But not every card/box is targetted at this point it seems.

we will see if the powers that be are withholding emms to force people to run the firmware update in official box to stop them watching their payed for subscription in a 3rd party stb. regards mdt
