in the last 5 years I have never updated a card in the original box, not even to add PPV. I only paired the card to a old box about 6 months ago but no issues YET!

I would like to thing you are right m8, but id be pretty sure they are just as "in the dark" as we are now... Its gona take a lot of work to undo all the security implementations that a firm with pockets as deep as 5ly can come up with. I'm not saying that it wont/cant be cracked, but I would think that they have had their best hackers/crackers testing it for years.. We will have to wait and see..

TBH and this is only my view on things, its been said down the years such as when the white cards came out that this was the end of C/S. I dont think they will ever get rid of C/S until they bring out cardless boxes. It may not be mainstream as before tho but its not as if they will need the tech equip that they would require to hack the card. Time and money is all it takes and i think you will see some back hand money from the likes of DM and VU.

If sly UK, Ger & Ita went dark watch sales drop in the sat market.

i know pay servers are a bad thing but thay will prob pay coders to do it.i mean some of them have to be making a lot on money.and it would not surprise me if the people who do the security for sly and other sat providers run them!

Newer boxes seem to be the first target... Once they're done uncle rup will probably check how many are still using old boxes and if its worth his while just offer them a free upgrade which become compulsoryvafter a year or so.

I think cs will still be around on 28e but will be more elitist. Although all of that is just speculation and brings nothing beneficial to the current ongoing discussion

Does anyone have entitlements past may? I have 2 cards, one my dads which i share around his house for him and I a use as my own sub in a sly box.

My own legit sub is only the sly world package in HD. They all have june dates.

Now my dads card which is the full package only has top half june dates and lower half end of may. Now maybe its coincidence that only some have had entitlements past pay I dont know.

I also have a amstrad 895 for my legit sub and dont have the new fw that ppl are on about but i do have the reciever ID thats being banded about. I also done a force update fw on the box and no new fw. Well it doenst have the Dolby hdmi option and eco power saving.

My dads card is paired to a samsung box.

By talk on OScam forum ppls ent have been running out and forcing you to update card in box thus completing the pairing of the card to box.

If the ent should work as normal cold it be that sky are just withholding emms for boxes and forcing ppl to put in the receivers, as I dont think the emm process would have changed is part is working ok.

WOuld be interesting if someone could get a hold of a card thats has full packages but is always in original box to see what the dates are on the prem channels.

Any one be able to do that to see ?

I have dates from 28/05 - 9/06.. will keep an eye to see if there any changes

I'm not so sure it will come back if it goes down this time. Around a year ago Australia had the same thing with Foxtel and still today the issue has never been fixed. Still blank cards for Foxtel customers.

Some here are saying its only affecting NEWBIES. Thats not correct. My cousin been a customer for 2 years since 2011. He was hit last night after updating with cccam. His card has never been in OG box since Sly engineer left his house 24 months ago. He is in Warwickshire

Mine updated during night. Ent all June. Card paird to old Amstrad box with the extra digit and reciever fw on box. Oscam only still clearing
