cloud ibox 2

any image i install for this box, it either red lights, loads and then crashes or presents a black screen, any ideas?

if it doesnt work, then probably something wrong with box , as i know image works 100%

i have been running this box with image openpli 4.0 for 2 days now no issues at all with epg, channel logos all on internal flash, i would say its better then the ibox 1 , doesnt heat up at all, slightly faster, and more memory 256mb flash / 512mb ram, no idea why they advertise 2gb flash / 4gb ram, for the price probably couldnt really expect that

only thing i dont like is the blurry info bar you get when first select channel, or gets quite alot if have picons to show on channel list

How many times does this need explaining to you it was advertised as Gigabit and not Gigabyte, Did you really expect a Clone to come with 2 Gigabyte Flash and 4 Gigabyte Ram for ?70.

A Clone is exactly that a Clone of the same specification no more and no less apart from Cheap Parts, Clones of the DM's & Vu's have been exactly the same no difference specification wise.

The Gigabit and Gigabyte scenario has been used by Technomate in there marketing exercise for the 2T-OE and Single receivers.

ok got it, they advertised as 4G DDR3RAM and 2G flash no mention to Gigabit !

This was exactly the phrase how the box was advertised by my chinese seller. One cannot say, if they meant Gigabit or Gigabyte. You think, they fooled us, course they took shortcut "G" and meant Gigabit instead of Gigabyte?

Hi, for the price couldnt expect it to have that much memory, but i would say this runs better then ibox 1, dm800 with slightly more ram and flash and cpu, for around ?65-?70 which aint bad for a enigma 2 box and its running openpli 4.0 , only thing how long will they patch the newer images or even if they will do it ?

My seller answered to my question, where I can download images as followes:

"OpenPLi3.0 image was installed. We will have softwares for you soon. The engineer is writing that. When we have software, I can send to you. Thanks!"

I think these boxes are great value for money mine arrived yesterday and so far everything looks good. As Lombard already said it runs faster and cooler mines has been on continuous for past 24 hours and still fairly cool. Also the box sits right way up which annoyed me with the ibox 1.

i'm having problems getting on demand to work ITV player works perfectly but BBC iplayer just wont play a thing. The menu loads up and I select the program I want to view it looks like its going to play but nothing plays just a black screen. I then stop the player and exit.

I also tried installing just the standalone BBC iPlayer but this gives the exact same results.

Any ideas guys ?
