Reflash the box with a patched compatible firmware mate via USB. Don't update it from software update you'll brick it.

another question: when I click previous and next channel on my remote, how do I make it switch in the Favourite channels instead of the full channel list?
and when I click to show channels, how do I make the popup show the Favourite channels instead of the full channel list?
Currently it always show full channel lisit and I have to click on the blue button to get the favourite channels... which is a hassle.

I'm guessing these boxes require some kind of driver so that they show on our tv's ?

I have a Samsung TV in 1 room and my box plays exactly as expected no problems at all but in my other room I put the box onto my old Sony Plasma and the box starts then screen goes black and nothing happens it never reaches the point where a tv channel shows. If I then take the same box and put on vix the box plays no problem but i dont like the Vix on this box as it doesn't seem to be stable I get a lot of freezing which I dont get on OpenPLI.

Is there a folder I can copy in the Vix image that holds the required data and transfer it into the OpenPLI image?

Thanks guys I hope this is an easy solution as I like OpenPLI and would prefer to use it.

i would think your problem is that you have the box set to 1080 resolution which your old sony plasma cant show, set the box to 720 on your samsung, then try the box again on the sony. im pretty confident that is the issue.

Wonder full Thread, very informative,
I almost made my mind to buy Cloud Ibox 2, then later goggled, and landed here.

The seller says new upgraded versions Cloud Ibox 2 Plus and Cloud IBox 3 available. ( 110 USD and 135 USD)
After reading all these, better stay away and wait for stable box and prices to fall.

Already Openbox S6000HD and other mini versions with Black hole 2.0.8 and OpenPLi 4.0 are available at around 80USD.

yes i have it works very good only problem is i can install CCcam ok but when i start the cam it comes up with sorry:wrong image found in flash .you have to install the black hole image in flash 2.0.9 and won`t run CCcam :UPDATE i had to install ferrari addons manager in it there is a fix for blackhole 2.0.9 to make it run the cams

Anyone having problems with TSmedia 5.0 update ?

I have a Cloud ibox 2 and a cloud ibox 2 plus both are having same issues.

When using 4.9 both worked perfectly no problems at all but when i update to 5.0 nothing will stream it's as if there something not configured correct to run on these boxes.

I've tried Open PLI 4.0 and Vix 3.0.808 both the same.

I have now gone through a few of the movie listings and it seems the only server that will play is movreel which plays all that this server displays

Maybe this will give some clues to the cause i'm thinking does movreel stream a different format from the others and im missing something to handle the other types of stream

Just to elaborate you need to use Ferrari 5.1 VU version as the fix is not in the the other Ferrari addons, you are looking for ' 2 * * Blackhole Hack ' in the list, I downloaded this before I added the Cam.

Thanks for your reply blue boy seems your having the same problem as me but just don't realise it.

If you were to uninstall tsmedia on open pli then reinstall tsmedia 4.9 you will find most of the streams that you find are not available work it's only when upgraded to 5.0 that most streams fail except for movreel
