Then it should work. Make sure the box is powered off at the back make sure the usb stick has the folder xp1000 on the root of the usb stick put the stick into the usb slot switch on when both red lights come on press ch+ button and wait 2 - 3 minutes your box should flash then restart. Lombards image is OpenPli so it will look the same as the default image supplied but he has added a few plugins and channel lists

Tey don't come with card reader possibly the space is for a card reader to be added in the future

Anybody know a good place where i could buy a power pack for this mines has a bad connection and keeps cutting off contacted lily but she says its too expensive to sending the power pack as it cost 3usd :-/. Also can anybody tell me how to get into setting up usb wifi on this had a look in the network but couldnt see anything.

just search for a dm800 power adapter on ebay, it works and its same 3amp

Hi guys, Just had my VU+solo go down after a good service, gutted, was a clone but never had issues really, used openvix until could no longer update so ended up using HD Freaks. Been looking at these tonight, what do you reckon worth it or go with the first model?? will need to find a seller from china that can send quickly!

It's getting quite difficult to get hold of the version 1 now, as most sellers are now only selling the latest version.
Just get the latest version & stick the back up image as posted by Lombard on it. I guess soon, there will be more images to follow.

Could one of you guys figure out, if ibox 2 is able to decode mms streams? DM800 clone (sim201) failed.

You can easy try, by open tsmedia, iptv, m3u and find mms stream.

This is what mfaraj57 from dreamoem-board told me:
"openpli 4 on dm800se is able to play mms stream,but not possible on dm800 also other images ,i think this related to drivers
i do not know about xp1000 but expected the drivers not able to deal with mms format"

they not even given great support for ibox 2 yet and they now have this, would be good if they had dual dvbs tuner

erm thats kind of the point of a clone. They release the box as cheap as they can make it so that it runs already established drivers and images so they dont have to spend any thing on support,milking the absolute most cash they can out of the saps who buy it and when things do go wrong they just blame the image rather looking for the fault them selves.

This way you think your getting a good deal while they slowly strangle the development of new hardware from the manufacturers they clone and they piss them selves laughing at the greedy schmucks who buy a shed load of boxes hoping to make a killing on ebay.
