Hi, i just tried vix 3.0 latest build, everything seems to work, just need to see if stable, only thing i like using ocram picons from plugins , when i set to show picons in channel list , when in channel list screen is blurry not sharp at all, anyone notice this ?

yes very blurry on the vix but its not on the open atv also my usb pen is mounted but not for the crossepg so its internal flash, dont have problem on open atv

Hi, so i had ago with vix 3.0 latest build, all was fine, when i try to download epg, i use xmltv-importer using rytec as source, it seems to download but never completes, box just goes blank and that's it, every time i start to download epg, sometimes it gets further but always just get blank screen and no remote response so thought it was faulty box , so i flashed openpli 4.0 and that downloads EPG fine using same plugin , source and had it running for hours

so if anyone can try to use xmltv-importer to download epg to test for me and see, also i save on internal flash i have around 45mb free which seems more then enough, i tried backing it up using vix inbuilt backup manager, i just get 2 files which are rootfs.bin and and kernel.bin , so when try to reflash backup, it just boots up doesn't give me option to start to flash 2 red leds on,

You can cheat the backup manager by copying the other 2 files from another backup - it works then

Only issue I'm having to deal with is the epg download from XML import doesn't save. I've tried downloading it twice now and it fills the epg but then the box crashes and when I restart it there is no epg anymore.

With cross epg it takes forever and was on "parsing" for like 30 mins before I gave up and pressed exit.

Is it because I'm letting it store epg on internal flash? I normally store on USB but I'm using the USB for a wifi dongle.

Hi, has anyone had any success with the card reader? I pay for a polish nc+ subscribtion and their card works well with my Skybox F5 receiver so you see an Ibox II with a useless/missing card reader would be no good for me. Also does the Ibox II do Hbbtv with the german channels on astra 19.2? I'd like to know beacause it looks like a quite interesting buget box. Thank you.

Download the EPGCache location plugin and set it to save Cache to flash (By default it's HDD), then after you have downloaded the data, restart Enigma and it's saved the EPG data - you can do the same to save to USB if one is available. In Vix, the option is in the EPG config, you don't need the plugin.

Hi, what are you doing different mate ? mine just blanks out , its set for internal flash , in epg settings, i do exact same with openpli 4.0 and that works fine, this is from a complete fresh flash, noting else installed, so i know its got enough flash memory for it

epg working fine now using xmltv-importer, my psu was faulty , strange it did it when trying this, maybe uses more power when doing it

yes i have tried with sly Uk card and it was working fine, but mind you some of this i cloud 2 are bad copys and dont even have card readers so get it from a known dealer that have better quality.
I got mine from satellite doctor so i have to ask if the reader installed, I can say its fantastic box. i have just managed to test this with Openpli4.0 and its very fast with TSmedia 4.7
