This is good news if it will solve the problems people have been having!
Is it a poor quality component that has caused this then..?
If it was me I would bridge it with some wire...

Just got my box up and running loving it, using vix image ps2gamer posted and works great, just a quick question, trying to stream films from my pc too the box witch is the best plugin to do this, tried the vlc one with no luck thinking about the plex addon but never used plex so any thoughts would be welcome

All the Barcodes and Main boards I've seen have the model Air 1000HD - I guess they are made by Airsat. The new ones do work much better than the original batch, so far tested 10 for at least 6 Hours each and no lock ups.

i must be one of the lucky ones my box has been running spot on since i got it from airsat i have tried all different images and they all work my box is on 24/7 if i have to fix it i now know what to do seems like an easy fix

they sending me those chips, seems easy enough, will see if it sorts the problem

I think you may end up finding that they have all come from Airsat as they are the manufacturers, if you open the box you will more than likely find their name somewhere on the mainboard.

I messaged 3 other suppliers today on Ali Express and all said they made them in their own factory, don't think I believe them though as the description of these boxes seem to have identical wording on all their ads , I think there is one factory supplying different outlets on Ali Express

I brought up the issue of the faulty resistors and they seemed unaware of the problem, a few of my mates want one but I think I will hold off until I know the teething problems are over.

I must admit the one I bought from Airsat and it has been rock solid so far, it was the first batch as well, I must have got lucky ( so far )

Got my box from shop in Hong Kong its been steady for 3 weeks but tonight during the footy it locked up got the black screen.I left it locked up for a few minutes then turned it off and then back on again its been running now for 2 hours without any issues.On another note wasnt there a cable box a few years back that when you soldered on a stronger resistor it made the rcu more responsive.Instead of sending the board back to supplier if we can find out the best resistor to solder over the existing one then maybe that could solve the problem.Only an idea.

Yes, it's Airsat . They have the cloud ibox 3 available before anyone else as well.
I did email them a couple of weeks ago to see if they would knock up some boxes with 2 satellite tuners, and a space for a hardrive (pretty much a box based on the vu solo 2) and said I thought they would be popular, unfortunately I never got a reply.

Bought 100 on ebay for ?3........fixed 4 boxes now. Cant believe a 3 pence part can cause so much crap....
