I just got my Cloudbox II+. Can I use any plugin from BH addons or are there specific patched plugins. I especially need Livefootball, same as I have for my Vu+Duo...
Are there more plugins for Openpli IV then Black Hole 2.0.9?

There are no Patched Plugins only images dependant on which receiver you have, Plugins should work on both Original and Clone Models but again there is no guarantee to either as it is also dependant on your setup image etc...

What works on one receiver may not on another.

The software gives this box many features, but how does it perform as a satellite receiver? Does it have good sensitivity? Can it tune to transponders with very low/very high symbol rate (e.g., transponder 74 herel, which is DVB-S2, QPSK with a symbol rate of 44100)?.

In my opinion, it's sensitivity is OK.
I have a DM800Se and receive RT HD on Eutelst 28E ( A russian, english language FtA channel) on that at a "level" of 32% which corresponds on the DM800Se to 5.2 dB - just above the noise floor for HD channels. On the iBox 2 Plus it receives the same channel at a "level" of 30% or a bit less (it varies rapidly). Same dish, LNB, cable - just a replug.

Now, I appreciate that comparing two numbers that are uncalibrated, undefined and probably arbitrary is not great science and that the iBox doesn't identify what sort of tuner it contains (the DM800se has a BCM4505 - whattever that is), but since that's the only set of numbers we have, it'll have to do.
On the other hand, I can't say what the receiver's strong-signal performance is lile with regards to intermod or blocking.

One observation I have is that the iBox2 Plus seems to be a bit finnicky about what LNBs it will "talk" to. Originally I was using a no-name LNB which worked great on the DM800se. But with the iBox2+ it refused to receive any channels above 11720 MHz. Swapping that LNB out for a different no-name (different size/shape so not the same brand) and the iBox2+ would scan the whole satellite.

Im having bother with a mates lnb not talking to my ibox 2 plus. Sly+hd box works. Skybox f5s works (with no signal fix). But ibox 2 plus only picks up very few channels. Mostly freeview. Is there anyway to get to the wizard that u use aat the start later when uv the box set up? Im thinking its picked up my lnb but using the wizard at his may pick up his lnb. Any advice save changing the lnb would be appreciated. Thanks.

i`ve got the ibox3 and i am using a sky quad lnb and it is picking up all the channels i am using blackhole 2.0.9 which i think is the best one out there you could try using one of the three other connections and see if they work better

can you please tell me how did you program the universal remote to work with the ibox3?
what remote codes did you use?
Dreambox?
XP1000?
Xpeed LX2?

Or did you have to train it manually? Was it a simple process or not?

This guy here on an amazon review says that he had to send it to the manufacturer to get it programmed to work with his vu+ duo

first you press magic button for 3 seconds then key in 975 put the original remote in front of your 7140 remote press the key you want to program on the 7140 then the same key on your original remote keep doing this until it is all done

There is now a Skybox branded mini solo, it has a metal case and looks more like a satellite receiver and less like a plain (experimenters) plastic case. The main board is the right way up, so heat can escape upwards. They do have the Ferrari V3.2 chip and include the RS232 module for updating the chip.

hi guys sorry to butt in, are you talking about the X SOLO mini 2 Linux OS DVB-S2 Satellite Receiver with Enigma2 I have one up and going , seems up to now to be a lot better than the slybox. Maybe you are talking about another box entirely, if so I do apologize.

My display shows "corrupt" figures. Only time it's correct, ios when it's in standby, showing the time. Otherwise, all kinds of weird figures. I wonder if it started after I used DBE for transfering Channel settings. Will a flash to another image solve the problem? I'm on OpenPli 4.0 now, wanting to test BH 2.1.0.
