Im gonna stick this new 5.3 image on in the next few days and try it? just wanted to ask......Is it ok to do an update soon as I have put the 5.3 on? Dont want to mess anything up if its not a good idea you see

@toe471 the image is OTA safe but do what I advise all to do, install the backup image, set it up for your region, put you magic on and get the box to a stage where you're happy with it. Then do your own backup image, so if a future update or user error breaks the firmware it's just a software restore and your back to where you started before the update or finger problems.

Put this image on my new H2 a couple of days ago. Set up the sat side with no problems. Set up the cable side yesterday. Scanned & set up autobouquets OK.

My problem is...how do I get back to watch the satellite channels? It's probably staring me in the face, but I've been trying all morning & can't see an obvious way to switch between cable & sat.

I've gone into the menu & selected tuner A, but it just goes back to tuner B again.

btw...many thanks martin035 for the image. I first tried to set up the box using a basic OpenATV image & setting it up myself, but gave up when I found your image where you had done all the hard work for us!

@Hadron, I've never setup the box for cable but I know a man who has, give happy_highlander a PM I'm sure he'll help you out.

If you want vermin first so that you have easier access to the hd. Change the provider order in autobouquet setup so that vm is on top.

I think I know what I did wrong.

Because the bouquets were already set up for Sky in the image, after I scanned in my cable channels I ran auto bouquet maker to just set up the cable channels (I unselected Sky UK in the providers menu). It looks like doing this erased the previous Sky bouquets. That's why I could only see VM bouquets when I pressed the FAV button.

I was assuming that there would be 2 seperate bouquets that I could swap between by pressing a button on the remote.

I have now run ABM again, only this time selecting VM and Sky UK in the providers menu.

I have VM set up first in the Providers order.

Next step is to get the EPG working for VM using happy_highlander's guide.

Little help please?, i want to change the background for when the box is rebooting i've tried the oxorion boot logo program and it changes everything except the afore mentioned reboot background.

You'll have to be more specific about what image you want to change. There are the different images on boot first to display is splash image and can't be changed with a boot logo program. Second to display is boot image and third is background

The one i want to change is the minions background that comes up when the box is rebooting , every other build i have used it can be changed with the xorion program but for some reason it wont on this

To change the reboot image.
1. Convert,resize and rename your new reboot image to a 1280 x 720 .PNG image using paint on a PC
2. FTP this new image to your Zgemma to the following location /usr/share/enigma2/slyk-1-hd/mybackgrounds/
3. Reboot Zgemma
