Make channels list Yourself Easy Way

Hi,

1-download setedit 100HD & install
2-download the dreambox setedit (not registrered) plugin from setedit de & install
5-download hannibal or other settings for dreambox
6-open an SW abs file for s9-s10
7-on menu, new file, choose dream & a new window appear
8-open the dreambox settings, choose your channels-favorite
9-paste into abs file settings, when finish, save & send the new SW abs file with USB
Now all channels is there
** don?t try to change the favorite name with setedit won?t work, rename it
with the remote
10-make a dump TP_PRG so you have only the channels & can send it in new img with STBH_lan or with USB

ou must INSTALL the 2 Setedit, the 100HD registred & the not registred for Dream..when you can choose in file,new,dream & a new window appear so you can open the dream settings you want to copy..

just download dreambox setedit copy the DLL files to SetEditHD100 1.13 dirctory.

Brilliant job mate, just tried it out with an old SGTFlipFlop channel set. Works a treat, have you any idea how to get more than 8 favourite sets, the SetEditDream opens up more than 8 favourite sets but the HD100 one won't let me use more than 8?

I'm exporting the file from the dreambox setting mate, then import into the openbox list. They don't appear in order, any idea why?

Whenever I try to open a TP_PROG.abs file with SetEditHD100 it brings up a error loading message. How do I fix this?

It's a full image dump from your box you use mate, you can't open the normal channel list. Then when edited you ref lash your box with the modded channel list and the channel list is already there. Then take a backup of tp pro so you have a copy of your channel list.

Thanks for the reply. Btw whats the best way to transfer the seteditdream list into the setedithd100 list once they are both loaded up?

Right click on the favourite and export. Save the file, then import said file into setedit100.

Well this is confusing :-/ I dont fully understand what the faff with Dream dll is for? Is this required if using SetEdit v1.18 ? What does it do? I did some more channel organising yesterday and went to upload the system file and it messed my box up, stuck on boot, had to fix it by RS232... I think this is all a bit iffy, using an editor that doesnt properly support the Openbox to manipulate its whole system firmware just to organise the channel list stored within it ?? Is there not a way to load the system dump into SetEdit, organise channels then simply just export a usable TP_PROG.dbs rather than a whole system dump? That would be safer and make more sense to me.. I suppose it might come if ever the makers of SetEdit code support for the Openbox...

I've never had any problems with it except once I took out the USB stick too early and it hadn't finished writing. It then stuck on boot. I then put the file back on and worked perfectly.

Yea, I think SetEdit sort of supports this type of thing, in that it has options to open and save as a .udf (User Data File?) But obviously doesnt save it in a format that can be just a channel list tp_prog file the Openbox likes (Ive tried it).. Hopefully SetEdit may sometime begin to support the Openbox, its by far the best editor out there...

I'll give it another go, but if it again renders my box stuck on boot I think I'll refrain from firing firmware into it from an editor that doesnt actually properly support the box yet..

Any idea why it switches to demo mode when you goto add dream services?

The resulting file I get after I save is *.abs.udf. Does this mean that you have to rename the file to TP_PROG.abs?
