It's unfortunate the PVR800 Editor doesn't give you the option to simply drag and drop channels like SeteditHD100.

I dont get this method. Is this mean we have to create .abs (image files) just to update our channel lists and then re-flash our box each time? Is there no simpler solution to create a .dbs file instead which we can simply just update our channel list with instead of having to generate a new image file (.abs) each time.

I read this somewhere "It has been brought to out attention that flashing dump files on the openbox overloads/overwrites info and damages it!

As dump files have firmware and channel lists combined, please in future flash the firmware first then load a channel list as no one wants there box to be fried!"

given that most people will have a box with a firmware that has channel lists combined, using your method then might cause people to run the risk of frying the box as you are having to create an entire image file just to update the channel list. Am I right or wrong here?

Anyone got a tutorial or guide for this?

Once there you can add channels into different favs list and rearrange them into any order you like, rename channels and rename fav list... after an hour you have your own list in the order you wish and you can sit back an have another drink to celebrate your achievement.. simplezzz.

Unfortunately, gondu, you can't delete or rename favourites using this tool for openbox/skybox/ali-based receivers.

I'm still looking for a solution to this minor annoyance.

Easy and working way as long as you have a dumped firmware with recently scanned satellites, otherwise when you import favourites, it will tell you there are channels missing.
I recomend you scan the satellites you want have your favourites set, then dump the abs firmware as you can only import the favourites to it and if they are not on the dump, they will not stick.
