make your own channels list.. hour to spare? sit down with a nice brew; or special brew and your remote control, press menu and go into your channel list. Once there you can add channels into different favs list and rearrange them into any order you like, rename channels and rename fav list... after an hour you have your own list in the order you wish and you can sit back an have another drink to celebrate your achievement.. simplezzz.
Back it up onto your computer by dumping it to usb

Hour to spare, would take a hell of a lot longer than an hour. I've done the 28.2 channel lists and took me a hell of a lot longer doing them with PVR800 and SetEdit and that's a lot easier than moving a few hundred channels up and down lists with the remote.

Although what your saying is fine if you want to add the odd channel in here and there but I wouldn't recommend sitting to make a full channel list that way. Your thumb would be wore down to a stub by the time you'd be finished .

EDIT:Just re-read that and if I come across as a bit nasty it isn't intended that way. Although I do get a bit peeved when you see how many downloads you get for the channel lists and the amount of thanks you get. Really must be hard for people to click that button.

yeh the least they could do is to thank you for it (little red button at bottom of the post!!!), i haven't tried the set edit, i used the pvr 800 and downloaded channel list and had to swap and change loads of stuff on them, but last time i upgraded f/w i couldn't get the programme list to load and thought i'd ~~~~ed box up, and only way i could get channels on was to use remote.. i got a nice set up of channel list tho, an it didnt really take to long, as you can select every movie channel or sports channel on ya list as favs then rearrange them once they in there..
I later found out the old channel list had doubled in size for some reason and thats why i couldn't load it..

Any way, i think i will d/l sendit just to have a play about and see if its easier then the pvr800, and i'll say thanks for it m8; it's the least i can do for you since you took the time to put it together an upload it for us to share.. Cheers

hi everyone, after a little help, how do you dump an abs file from dream box, i have an 800hd, i've looked around on settings but cant see anything, think tunnel visions kicked in, cheers, very very nubie...

Look what I've found, SetEditHD100 v1.18.

Below you'll find a version that doesn't require you to change the channel list extension from .dbs to .abs. It's a slightly modified version that allows you to open TP_PROG.dbs files, without the hassle of having to change the extension back and forth.

Tried to rename the file for use with PVR800 editor but it just stays as the BDS format in the directory listing

are you on xp, i had that problem, open it in the winrar/zip folder it downloads to and change it in there.. then drag it to desktop

with setedithd100 how do you add channels with ac3 audio?There is the option for hd video but I can't add ac3 audio.There are channels on a tp I have to add manually and need this function.

I think that was one of the issues with using SetEditHD100, there is no way to select the ac3 audio option.

I think I even tried the v1.23 and it still had no ac3 option.
