Sky Sports 5 has appeared on the Sky EPG, the HD version is not open, so that can be added to the list.

Yes I know a lot people don't have the cable option but they do have the option of a motor or fixed dish multi sat. Both these systems can be had for around ?150 then you read the many tutorials available including mine on multi sat or the very good motor tutorials on this very site to set it up yourself. Even your closed source plug and play boxes are capable of running these systems. It is not difficult if you follow the instructions and you will always find members on here are more than willing to help someone who is willing to help themselves, this is how the knowledge base within the community grows and if just one of these people have a hidden talent that leads to them developing other options then we are all onto a winner cause everyone in this community remembers where they started from and the cycle is complete ready to start again.

Good post HH, Digicon warned everyone about this last year yet the plug and play brigade sat back and now all are panicking.
If your happy with sd then there's not a lot to worry about at present but like HH says in his post we made the decision early enough so there wasn't any disruption and personally I went down the motorised route when I first started so there's always more than one way to skin a cat especially if you don't have cable in your area.
Facts are plain and simple in the next few weeks you will lose all of your $ hd channels period.

    Hd looks perfect through cable
As Benny says don't expect iptv to be the answer it uses up to much bandwidth with the hd streams my first answer is the best way forward.

spot on but lets not just have a gloom and doom thread, a little quip now and again
will and can bring a bit of brightness when things are going in ways members dont like.
but the thread would'nt stray from the topic. if all members had a motorised system
and then this satellite would'nt be so important to lots of the members, it's been
said many times before that it cant come as a surprise that providers will do all
they can to stop non official subscribers from using there service illegally. and lets
not kid ourselves you can bet a lot of money has been set aside to implement this
new system and it could block this satellites channels for a very long time to all
except there customers and the official receiver, in other places there are lots of posts
saying iptv is the way to go as the present way of opening the channels is coming to
a end, i would take this with a pinch of salt for this reason, ask yourself where or how
do the iptv providers get there streams from. that why i think as channels get blocked
they will also go down on iptv. but to be honest most iptv is not in HD format so they
probably have lost any of there service yet, but as this progresses they will and this type
of thread will start all over again for iptv channels. but in this HD and other channels challenge
at the moment the score is Dame Edna Everage 2 satellites ---- the members 0
and before it gets better just remember 19e will be next and if nothing is found for a fix it could
be 3-0 so come on our own general Kitchener [aka] super jumbe get your abacas on overtime and
get the beads clacking the country and DK members need you to sort this hicup out.

Unless you are sitting on the end of a Cline feed who honestly gives a care to recent developments. Use tsmedia for all film and series. Then watch bbc for current affairs.exactly what are you missing
