don't worry about it pal, there's always going to be sceptics who assume it won't or can't be done due to the hd pairing implemented on viasat and italia.

with the italia issue, eveyone assumes that the measures implemented are the same as with uk, i for one don't think they are.

The Viasat One is not the same as the Italia or UK and was broken years ago through an official receiver, From what i have read and understand the Italia and UK share the same encryption process as both are protected Via NDS.

This is how Plainly done the workings before the Implementation:

Satellite Signal with required information - official receiver - Passed to official Card - Channel Opens

And this is how its done roughly now:

Satellite Signal with required information - Official receiver Encrypts Required information - Passed to official Card which has passkey for Extra layer of encryption which unlocks the original required information - Channel opens

All i can say is if someone has got all that working from after the Card part with just a few tweaks of files in Linux then good on em.

i have a paid subscription, i also have a motorised dish... i don't own a skybox f5 nor do i pay ?8 a month for any subsciption. I don't really give a shite about hd channels but if the lad thinks he has found a fix then i WILL wish him good luck with his findings.
I also know it isnt the end of the world because chicken licken hasn't come running past my window yet.

it amazes me everyone thinks the worlds going to end because the provider @28e
has started to block his service from people who are obtaining it illegally without a
paying the official subscription, then we read from anouther poster saying he has the
hd chns back and is now doing a five day test, if this is a fact ask yourselves why the *** Italian
hd channels on 13e, that were blocked last November and are still blocked why havn't they been
got back open. i also expect very soon even more of this providers service will also be blocked
to all except the official paired box and card system now being sent out to the customers,
does anyone really believe all the providers will just sit back and let this continue.
that is why the only way forward for this hobby is with a motorised system. there are
thousands of channels on many satellites with lot's of similar channels to this provider
and the audio on many of these channels can be changed to English. if anyone hope there's
a fix around the corner for these hd or any that are blocked then don't hold your breath
i think this provider has spent a lot of money and resources to make sure it's very secure
so come on you don't need to join the navy to see the world, just get a motorised set up and
keep all the uk satellite engineers in work,

Each satellite supports different channels for different regions

I know nothing about how this encryption/pairing works, but I asssumed that any fix would clear all the non-working HD channels?
