I cant agree with you more , if people didnt get so greedy with earning cash off slys back and having the cheek to sell the subs on fleabay then i think there would have been none of this now , greed gets in the way of everythink like many of others ( ondigital aka itvdigital ,and cable , sly is next in line and i also think what higlander is saying is spot on it will for sure stay underground for long to come has i think many have learned from this . to be honest there may be a fix soon has it all happend or just after and the big guys are keeping it all locked down.If true it means a fix is on the way but don't hold your breath because any fix is likely to stay well underground for a long time to come. Lessons will have been learned and the number of blatant ads in the last 12 to 18 months or so on the likes of fleabay openly promoting stealing pay tv has resulted in a sharp demise of the anonymity of what is possible with a bit of know how.
It may be true or it may not be true. As always there are rumours a plenty but in my opinion of you want to be sure you can watch sat tv for a long time to come by a motor or learn to set up a fixed dish multi sat system. With patience, a good chunk of common sense and a lot of good tutorials with support from forum members anything is possible.Leave a comment:

Could anyone please confirm if Star Life OK is in the "not working" list? The sound works perfectly but there isn't any image though.
Many thanks.Leave a comment:

by the sounds of it the pairing system that sly have used it may be hackable, but u may need a new box ? .
when i seen this message on another website i thought someone on here may know what this guy is talking about ?
In all fairness if sly have put update through all boxes then there will be a workaround, like xbox 360 for chipped games they said the slim wouldnt be able to be hacked they thought wrong when the guys got on to it and then bang then found a way around it same has this they will find a way around it may not be weeks or months but someone will fix it , has the counter measures have been put there , theres aload of ppl working on a hack has we speakLast edited by venza1; 30 May, 2014, 00:11.Leave a comment:

What does all the above mean, in layman terms?

i found this on an other website looks like the new updates sly have is spreadinglike wildfire , im not sure how true this all is but i thought to post this message
" The new pairing is based on the hardware pairing chip, that is already broken as we all seen on the past 18 months hardware pairing emulation for Conax was released, as well as other systems. There is few studies also published about this hack. The same chip and code is doing this hardware pairing you are talking about as well as the Conax or other CAS.
I was also told that a new box is coming (not linux) from the usual people at the origin of the working "3 months cards" such as K3, Knot2.x, Millenium, Abracadabra, Omnia, Opos, that is emulating all the hardware pairing for the various CAS... all this based on a hacked ST chipset.
So the hardware pairing is broken, it now seems to fall on the hands of the old good "3 months pirate card" german mafia suppliers, but it would probably soon go to Linux boxes as piracy of pirate products is the usual way... (due to very bad quality and full of bugs software, easy to extract / hack, for sure more easily than the original product from CAS).Leave a comment:

A friend recommended that I should get a diseqc switch and a bigger 80cm dish.. it would allow hotbird to be viewed..would that be a good workaround for hd channels?Leave a comment:
