As I did mention, it was my mate that was doing all the work and not me, so I really don't know what he was doing and he isn't a member on here, all I can do is ask him for some details, that's all, to be honest I don't care who, what etc does anything, I am like you in that I just want a damn fix for it, i'll check n see if he's wanting to give details, think he said he would, I shall check, not a problem to ask afterall.
For now I'm happy to just have the SD, its better than nothing unless your desperate to be spending loads of cash on you know what etc, I don't, pity though as I do have some rather great HD plasma and Led telly's man

I'm also interested to hear what this fix is. I use a PC with ACAMD to connect to my own OSCAM server. As described in previous post .................... etc. essentially work as they should. The issue is the extra layer of encryption introduced. To counter this a new software module needs to be added to mimic this process and pass the expected information to the cam. As such it is impossible to design an implementation that will work on all boxes. The focus would be to deliver a module for Linux based boxes and then supply the code for other box suppliers to integrate it into their own software systemsLeave a comment:

have been considering revising my sky subscription in any case. I don't really use sky movies (why would I with tsmedia) and since the only relevant encrypted channel I might use is RTE2 I can probably drop that also. So its cost savings all the way :-)Leave a comment:
