I just now saw your post so I was not able to try it out. But I have a few questions:

On the receiver program on the settings you just enter waed.dvrdns.org - I am using your example? Or do we need to enter waed.dvrdns.org:1234?

And on the dream box port we leave it at 80?

Another question:

In order not to bother my friend how can I try it at my home - same place streaming and receiving? Can I just open the receiver software enter the IP and it should work?

Hi Dedes
i advice to download the latest update of the programs
we have now

streamer

receiver

now in the receiver you have to enter in server dns address as example waed.dvr.dns and in the server streaming port 1234 or what ever port used for streaming in the server side
look for settings in streamer side and in the receiver side
follow the pictures in next post

port 80 is port of dreambox in the streamer side it is optional and only used if you want to use screenshot from dreambox remotely or to browse webinterface
do not worry about it

for connection between receiver and streamer you have to do two things
1- open constant port 5678 in streamer side and forward to streamer computer ip
2- to be connected you have to run streamer and not neccessory to start streaming because you can start from receiver.

Yes i can but i will not promise you to see clear picture
reason i am in undeveloped country and the internet speed very low i have internet upload speed about 90kb/s(mean 7 kb/s transfer rate)
with this upload speed difficult to stream video channels but ok with radio channels
as you have higher internet speed you have the chance to stream good quilty video is high
i will pm you when i arrive home and send for you the link

you can use receiver and streamer in the same computer to test the receiver
in this case the receiver connects with streamer through the port 5678 through internet connection and not through local network
