Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

I had troubles with this on my laptop. I loaded it on my pc and it works but there are a few bugs (which I can live with).

When I change the channel on my dreambox it reconnects to the stream but loses sound. I have to restart the app before sound works again.

Another issue I have is my bouquets start with Astra 28.2e which is empty, then I have UK tv which starts with bbc1, bbc2 etc. The app seems to have added a random bouquet called 2AE which now has all the channels that should be in UKTV. UKTV now has sky movies channels, sky sports are now in my movies bouquet etc.

This bouquet issue also happened in Dreambox viewer ver 4.0








In all I am very impressed with the app, very good work Mfaraj

Typically changing channels should be from application itself,however if user changes channel from the receiver the app understands that and accomdate accordingly but may behave differently in state of streaming and recording
regarding the bouquet 2AE,the app does not add anything,The program connectes with dreambox database and brings channels and bouquets information and displays them. About the appearance of 2AE which it seems shorcut for 19.2 astra east
i will investigate that and i will fix the problems you have faced in next version
The program is individual effort and tested in one enviroment so bugs are expected with different enviroments

I tested it on my laptop and desktop, both showed the 2AE so it may be an issue with my dreambox config. The webinterface for the dreambox shows the bouquets as they are in the channel list on my dreambox so not sure if it is a failure on my part setting up the bouquets or a bug in the software.

If you need my services and bouquets files i'll zip them and upload them somewhere.

On the channel change issue I was using the remote control, haven't tested changing channel with the receiver software as I was testing with windows media player only.

This stream by upload speed 90kb/s imagine if it is 400kb/s
the quality with improve ten times

Do you receive the stream,now just changed the internspeed to medium from settings,the quality will improve but with inturruption

Ok do not worry
this behavior expected with windows media player hard acceleration put to full
to make print screen working and screenshot just by right mouse click on small screen-options-decrease hardware acceleation to half and everything with be ok

The problem in first item
Astra/eurobird-28,2AE
the comma inside the item make the program to understand this as two bouquets so add 2AE
this rare bug in program and will fixed in next version
for now to fix it,just from receiver remove the comma(,) from the item and everything will be correct

Yes it is bug
when i observed the name of bouquets for presence of comma and i did not find it
but the expresion 28,2AE should be written 28.2AE but this error cause minor bug in my program
solution just remove "," from the 28,2AE from receiver or from dreamset and everything will be ok

Mfaraj is right, simply changing the comma for a full stop fixed this bug for me.

Anyone has this working with Vista Home Premium (streaming)? I'm just able to watch it on my PC (Lan)....
