Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

just for test i stopped streaming then i start it from my side
Sure there is error in port 1234
did you see video in restreaming window
did you try to open other port let,s say 1235
dns address is ok

Yes I see video on the restreaming window and I have tried port 1235 but with no luck.

Do you think problem can be somewhere else like on the Dreambox? I am using a DM500.
Do you sugest a diferent port besides 1235?

before using any port you have open and forward it

check the port is opened or not by this

With the Streamer closed it says that port 1234 is open both UDP and TCP but with the streamer open it says that a software is blocking this port

try to put firewall off and try

what image installed in your dreambox

vlc version is the one you have put here to download and the image I have on my dream is gemini

I have put the software working but after all this work because I have a DM500 with Gemini as an image pictures are very very poor.

Maybe something will come up to solve this problem

For good streaming pli-jade image should be installed
i think now your problem from gemini
pli-jade is good image

The installed image on dm500 and enigma1 dreamboxes in general plays a role in streaming and recording

we found the best image to do these things well is pli-jad and the worst is gemini image
pictures from archive of my work team who tests the images

great program took a bit of learning about port forwarding and adding dyndns to router but tbh taught me stuff i should know .
working on vista ult and prem and streaming great on darkstar II 7020 even on wireless
tho get message dreambox webinterface plugin is less than 1.5 please update to recent version ? think this is causing it to crash the odd time ?

I had troubles with this on my laptop. I loaded it on my pc and it works but there are a few bugs (which I can live with).

When I change the channel on my dreambox it reconnects to the stream but loses sound. I have to restart the app before sound works again.

Another issue I have is my bouquets start with Astra 28.2e which is empty, then I have UK tv which starts with bbc1, bbc2 etc. The app seems to have added a random bouquet called 2AE which now has all the channels that should be in UKTV. UKTV now has sky movies channels, sky sports are now in my movies bouquet etc.

This bouquet issue also happened in Dreambox viewer ver 4.0

As you said streaming by the program is very easy and direct just choose channel and start streaming
The problem is always in port forwarding and creating dns address and these are not undercontrol of the program

Regarding the message ,this should appear only with enigma2 dreamboxes because program will not interact with enigma2 webinterface version less than 2.5,however thanks for your note and i will see why this occurs
