Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

Hey!

When it comes to embeding the stream in my homepage. You sent me a code once. It works perfectly!

But, is there a way to design it more? I want to change the text PLAYLIST1 that comes as default in the embeded wmp.

Is it also possible to use an ASX file instead of the code you sent?

The code you sent was:

i do not have an idea about asx file and how to use but i will search and if you get something useful please inform me

Can you please help me with a strange problem

when I choose the advance option for upload profile and press restream , the address which results starts with MMSH or HTTP, I copy the full address and paste it in url of windows media player, the player rejects both addresses that start with MMSH and HTTP.

please help me how to solve this problem

These formats to be used only with vlc player
to play mmsh with wmp just delete h and put mms://xxx.xxx:1234 in windows media player

Did what you suggested and got a response from windows media player :

windows media player can not play the file because of network error> server might not be available > verify you are connected to network and that proxy settings are correct>

am connected to network and proxy settings are correct

I even copied the mmsh address to vlc player but again failed and I got the following response (VLC is unable to open the MRL 'mmsh://xxxxxxx.dyndns.biz:1234'. Check the log for details.)


Am really desperate . Sorry to bother you but any further suggestion

Hi Nabbat and sorry for delay in response because net problem
from these error messages no streaming occur
did vlc pop up when streaming and playing stream
check your port
check you dns address
use preset values instead of advanced from settings

if port 1234 opened and forwared well then streaming is Inevitable
you can check for that by portchecker tool,presents in tools folder
what vlc version you are using
did vlc pop up during streaming and play stream
what about preview buttons did they show anything

im using port 10004 and 5678 checked and are open
vlc version 1.0.5
only one tiem i can view the streaming image but wend restart aplication never see it againg

no need for any plugin for dreambox regardless its model
no special codec needed for pc also
you should try different codec from settings
low,medium or high upload profile or even from advanced section
if you can take picture during streaming it will be helpful
