Dreambox streaming to internet,it was never easy like this

Using the original 5.0 version, i find it starts streaming fine for 4-5 mins then it says 'stopped encoding' but still looks like it is streaming. What can i do to stop it saying this all the time as this really my only issue now?

My PC is dual processor 4gig ram as well as my laptop, both the same result.

Also when i stream to a friend, he can see my stream for about 30secs then it cuts out and has to rebuff, this is strange as he has 8mb broadband connection. I told him to use vlc which had little improvement, any suggestion to make his computer stream receive a better stream?

out of interest rruunneerr what OS are you using (you and your m8's) ive had this running on on vista but only really been testing with xp so far ...

I have streamed from my dreambox today from the last update exe for 5 hrs with very low upload speed without stopping and without any problem and from dreambox 500 which should be less stable than dm800
second you can watch someone streaming from ksa since moring without stopping and you can see at my site

sometimes i face streaming strange behavior but not always i think the matter related to interactions between different codecs installed in pc,as you know dealing with graphics in pc is complicated mattar and you have to expect many probelms
last update work for me good and very stable while with you gives problems because we have different enviroments
i revert back to most stable one 5 and facing some problems with mobile version and i have surprized the stable version gave me same problem
i think the mattar related to codecs installed and to cpu and to the applications opened
rebooting pc and close all application may solve all the problem
It is important to use version vlc .99
you can test the program on other computers and see

streaming is not from me just host dns address from saudia arabia
if stopped may be the streamer went to spleep because it is late this area but now it is working and i am far enough from streamer

both systems are running XP, but my friend is using the latest VLC player 1.1.

WIll this be is problem?

just for test just extract the exe to program folder no need fo setup
more flexibility in chosing upload speed and more advanced options

There is second program dreambox vlc streamer by Tunisiasat and nearly does the same jop as dreambox player and web streamer

both programs are using same method to stream and favor not for me neither for vlc streamer it is for vlc and its ability to transcode
so result and quality of streaming are the same in two programs
for whom facing problems with my program i advice to use the other, both do same jop and similar streaming quality although my program simpler and has more functions

I've tried the vlc streamer posted above but have found the streaming
not as good as from your program, it streams ok for a while then gets
jerky before streaming ok again and it continues like this where as
your program runs very smoothly

I put the above program after it is mentioned by Ian in the other forum
really i didnot find it very helpful and usualy launchs vlc player to do streaming
The quality of streaming either in my program or dreambox vlc streamer or vlc player itself are the same because all follow the same mechanism
When i noticed the streaming quality in my program is bad and chopy i do streaming the same deambox channel by vlc player and gave me the same poor quality
so the streaming quality depends upon various codecs we used and ability of cpu to handle the transcoding process
VlC is poor streamer but the simple one available,i hope in next development of windows media player 12 that microsoft will solve the streaming issue by windows media player 12
Regarding my program i have done some changes regarding streaming to mobile and to fix language priority

current settings are;

3072.
0.75
mp3
128
2 channel
and looking much better.

I think it is good compination but 3072 is high vbitrate and you could not stream this outside with other side download problems
