i install piccons on usb stick

if you have no flash card, you will get nothing putting picons in media/cf, as cf is a flash card storage area

thanks thats what i trying ask for the last couple day where should put them as the box does not have CF/HDD/USB

they should go into /usr/share/enigma2. but this image does things different to other images on quite a few things, so might be a different location. I would say get a USB stick mounted, and put picons on that, works fine for me.

Or, go to your settings, select "expert" on where to store picons. then go to software manage, download any set of picons there (not lcd display ones). They none for sky uk there, but any will do.

Now try and find where they are stored too, folder will be picons or piconsHD.

delete the files in there and store the picons you want to use in this same folder.

Hi guys,

I am sorry to say that i still can not send the bouquets over to my box using dreamboxedit despite me doing it that way for months and months? Anyway, i am getting a german error message which is shown below:

'Exeption EAccessViolation in Modul DreamBoxEdit.exe bei 00224074.
Zugriffsverletzung bei adresse 00624074 in modul ***8216;DreamBoxEdit.exe***8217;.
Lesen von Adresse 00000270'

I do not know exactly what this is but i do know that when i try to send the bouquets over and reboot the box, i have to re-configure my tuner as whatever is happening it is setting the tuner to an almost factory reset?

If anyone has any idea how i can sort this problem out it will be MUCH appreciated.

I will be doing Enigma2 Multi Bouquet, But will not for Enigma1 as it takes too long to remove every HD channel from all satellites, Easily too do yourself if you have the time.

All correctly mapped and a few obscure ones missing only

Use any FTP client, DCC for example, to transfer the picon directory to 
one of the following paths on Flash, HDD, CF or USB respectively:

/usr/share/enigma2
NOT recommended, because of limited capacity of the flash memory

/media/hdd
HDD will keep running indefinitely and may affect image performance

/media/cf
Recommended if CF available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

/media/usb
Recommended if USB available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

Picon will display immediately on zapping, no further setup required!

Always remove old picons from Dreambox before uploading new ones, 
Sometimes they don't overwrite correctly

what you are discribing in your previous posts that your img is not saving settings ie you have to reset tuner confige and not being able to ftp services and bouquets sounds like your image is full or corrupt i would reflash a new image save any cam cfg you have before doing so hope this helps

Hi just downloaded thanks but could not find Sky Atlantic HD under the HD tab so edited it manually and placed under Sky living HD is this correct.

Fixed, Please redownload, Don't know what Sky are thinking about as they have made a complete mess of there list.

No, They are listed how Sky has listed them

I have tried it on Gemini 5.1, Dream Elite 1.3.3, Domica 7.0 and the new Dream Elite 1.0 final and can not get it to work on any of them although for many months i was regularly updating the bouquets without any problems whatsoever?

I have even tried different versions of dreamBoxEdit to see if that makes any difference.

This is very annoying!
