Radio Picons

Hi thanks for the update for the radio, yours seem to be the best and most complete picons, looked at some from silverfox before yours on this forum but has a few errors etc.
Would it be possible to add
RCR (VOT) Radio
TWR Radio
KHUSHKHABRI Radio
Then every radio channel is complete with picon.

@ SGT i have spent some time moving some channels around mostly asian ones
just wanted to know if i update to your lastest file will i lose all the settings

anyone out there using 500HD with Newenigma2 need help channel scanning

yes you will loose all your alterations as the bouquet you load onto the box totally replaces what's already there.

Hi BBCi has no picons, mtvn Hd Picon showing on sky box office Hd, plus a few others if you install the picons I was talking about, just flick through all the channels and there associated picons and you will see.

i dont use picons i think there a gimmick and a waste of time, i will pass on your findings to silverfox however.

I deleted all the Picons yesterday and re-did every single one, Took me the whole day.

There are some that I cannot find as the ones you mentioned in the Radio bouquet, Cannot find a source file to make a Picon from.

Done a few changes to the Bouquet aswell that has impressed me so far, Big update of channels due on the 1st Feb so I'll just wait until then to release the lot

Seem some people put them on other forums without saying who created them, Not nice

Also 1 more thing to the guy who is selling them on eBay for 99p Haha

by the way when trying to set up the picons, what is this option? and how do i set it up?

Every single one remade from scratch, All my own work

With help from someone I have added an option so the channels wont change name from now on, They will stay how they are listed in the Bouquet.

I will be doing Enigma2 Multi Bouquet, But will not for Enigma1 as it takes too long to remove every HD channel from all satellites, Easily too do yourself if you have the time.


** Edit your own BBC & ITV Regional channels to suit your needs in DreamboxEdit (If you are from Ireland, I've renamed all Irish channels so easy for you to find) **

Also added Picons for Sky UK , 
All correctly mapped and a few obscure ones missing only

Use any FTP client, DCC for example, to transfer the picon directory to 
one of the following paths on Flash, HDD, CF or USB respectively:

/usr/share/enigma2
NOT recommended, because of limited capacity of the flash memory

/media/hdd
HDD will keep running indefinitely and may affect image performance

/media/cf
Recommended if CF available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

/media/usb
Recommended if USB available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

Picon will display immediately on zapping, no further setup required!

Always remove old picons from Dreambox before uploading new ones, 
Sometimes they don't overwrite correctly

Open E2 all sats in DBE click tools and then choose the bottom option 'Toggle between version 2 & 4 settings' and then save too a new folder

Bouquets

Hi Sgt,

I am having a problem sending the bouquets to my Dm800. They see to load ok but when i go onto favorites the bouquets are not there? I have tried many times but i cant get the bouquets to show.

What am i doing wrong baring in mind that i have done this successfully for months?

Are you sure you are clicking "Send Files to Dreambox" and not Reload setting on dreambox?

Yes, i am sending the files to dreambox first as i always have in the past. I just cant understand why it is not working? Whenever i send the bouquets to the box and check, all i am getting is an empty favorites folder???
