Hi SgtFlipFlop. Thaks for all your hard work with your updates. I have a question on some of the chanels the picture doesnt fit the tv and i carnt open it to fit like wide screen etc

yes i too have noticed this on few HD channels like sky1 when simpsons are on

Older Simpsons are not HD nor wide-screen - the Broadcaster will upscale but not stretch or otherwise change the AR. They appear in a 4:3 box with the Black Bars on each side.

how do i change the AR dm 800hd blackhole 133d

You can't, Tried loads of times, Changing to Just Scale should fix it but it doesn't, So all 4:3 content will appear with black bars

what happens if i just put the enigma2 multi list onto a dm500? i cant be arsed to go through and remove all HD channels.

There will not be an update for a while, Tuner has gone on the DM800 and they guy I bought a new one from has let me down

I will be doing Enigma2 Multi Bouquet, But will not for Enigma1 as it takes too long to remove every HD channel from all satellites, Easily too do yourself if you have the time.


** Edit your own BBC & ITV Regional channels to suit your needs in DreamboxEdit (If you are from Ireland, I've renamed all Irish channels so easy for you to find) **

Also added Picons for Sky UK , 
All correctly mapped and a few obscure ones missing only

Use any FTP client, DCC for example, to transfer the picon directory to 
one of the following paths on Flash, HDD, CF or USB respectively:

/usr/share/enigma2
NOT recommended, because of limited capacity of the flash memory

/media/hdd
HDD will keep running indefinitely and may affect image performance

/media/cf
Recommended if CF available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

/media/usb
Recommended if USB available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

Picon will display immediately on zapping, no further setup required!

Always remove old picons from Dreambox before uploading new ones, 
Sometimes they don't overwrite correctly

Plenty of people do it, I prefer not to as having 100 dummy blank channels before you even get started looks shite and the reason I started making these so they looked neat and tidy

ahh i was thinking that when you selected say channel 108 it selected the correct channel and not just displayed the correct channel number at the side like sliverfox's does thnx anyways
