hi guy i am useing this bh 2.0.5.b image its working ok but when i try to use usb for cross epg or picon then i lose signal black screen but when i take usb out works fine plzzz any help/info would be greatly appreciate

Ok Got one of these a couple of days ago WTF what a complete pile of rubbish.

Please don?t buy one. Ok reasons why.

Unpacked it ---- cheap nasty.

First thing I noticed was the USB ports are upside down, not a real problem I agree.

The USBs are not marked so which is the front (on a normal VU+) and which is the back? Well ok the USB nearest to the back is the one for flashing.

Imaged went on fine (blackhole latest version). But after a while the unit started to error. I checked it and it was very hot.

I open the bottom to check the fan. It was spinning, now here is the bad part. When you put the bottom panel back on the card reader stops the fan dead.

Now if you don?t have the unit switched on you probably would not notice this,but I had it running and the fan buzzing noise told me what was going on, everytime I tryed to pop the back on again fan stopped. Tried moving the cable but no good. In the end removed the card reader (not realy a solution)

OK so the clone was a bit cooler. So put on bench test for a while. OH DEAR. Hang Hang Hang every 10-15 mins totaly unresponsive until pulling power

Remote looks like an original but sure dont feel like one !!!!

So to round up it is terrible!!! Buy a real VU+solo with real warranties great looks and performance

It is now back in its box ready to return to Amazon

yeah this thing iant for everyone. My mate got one and the fan failed after a week. Mine is silent and runs only warm. There's loads of info on this thread and it takes some reading but it's pot luck and price vs hassle compared to a real VU+ solo. I personally have the card reader installed to the back panel and the box running upside down as a precaution. I have found a really stable version of VIX from 'Ten Below' which runs the IPTV and 1channel/icefilms nicely. I am really pleased but I'm a bit geeky and enjoy a challenge.

Hi, I just bought this receiver based on the user experience and price ofc, but could you write the pros and cons of the different images that you've tried and what image you're running now, how it is best to set up to avoid the freeze issue, i ordered the one that comes with fan installed is it enough or I should change the fan with bigger one?

I was thinking to put this box on sell here in my country, but i am not going to do that, as i think this box has many problems, I will give you some advice with Clones, I have tested lot of Chinese Clone Boxes as re seller, I can say that some are good some bad, so it is big difference between clones, as the factories that make them have not any real standards, in Shenzhen where all this things are made, are lot of small factories, or even some of this boxes are assembled at home, Only few factories have some good standards, been told this by Chinese, so you need to know where to buy, even me that been buying there for many years, it take me hours to find out what is what???, I sell Skybox F5 at the moment which si not bad, F3 and F5 are the best versions of Openbox-Skybox, myself ordered VU+ Solo2 Original, waiting to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don`t know why some people are slating this box i have got both the 60000hd without a fan and the cloud ibox with the fan and they have both been excellent boxes using blackhole 2.0.5b without a problem no freezing no green screens or any of the reported problems for ?60 delivered from china by fedex in 3 days for an enigma 2 box with all the plugins you can get it is excellent value for the money if you want a cheap enigma 2 box buy one if not don`t buy one why pay ?300 when you can buy this one for ?60

It will run just fine with original image.

I recommend Blackhole 2.0.5 been running for a while now with no freezing at all.

Hi i have put a good few out to my friends with no problem at all. Plus the real cpu so u can use images.
Ans any people with problems with fans u can get the on ebay for ?3 or china ?1.50p

yes but is not recommended to power the fan from the internal USB ports
